I watched the video and it’s a shame how our government and we Nigerians overhyped Lagos and estate management are you kidding me , do you know how beautiful such mansion would look like if it’s in a western developed country like Australia or USA, with same amount of money , we encourage corruption in this country , look at the surrounding of the so called expensive mansion abeg make huna go check how dem Dey build am for dat side nonsense

For $3m ....i expect to see land in multiple hectares. The property is crowded by other developments, not good.

No built-in library, no multi-media workspace, it has only one kitchen.

The focus is all about entertainment and party.

Even if i had $500m I wont buy this property for more than $500k.

The problem with these kind of houses and location is the yearly maintenance / cost of running it, I think I'll pass.

I'd rather buy off my neighbors properties, and build from the scratch at my current neighborhood than move to banana island; that's if I had the $3m to spend on a home.

In a sense they are right.

Banana Islsnd and Ikoyi properties have a current yield of about 3% per annum. Factor in inflation at 11% and you have a negative return of - 8% add annual naira depreciation at 7% p.a and you have a total negative return of 15%. Ikoyi by and large has a 22% vacancy rate.

A property this large will do even worse than the numbers above. As an investment it's a folly. As a lifestyle asset - beauty is in the eye of the owner!

So vanity? Maybe.
