The dethroned Emir of Kano, Sanusi Lamido Sanusi arrived Abuja Airport on Monday night after his dethronement as Emir of Kano by the Kano State government on Monday.

He is expected to continue his journey to Nasarawa state on exile.

The Kano State government dethroned Sanusi Lamido over alleged insubordination, refusal to attend official meetings and breach of Kano Emirate Law.

Sanusi can move to Ibadan or Abeokuta where he can have quality life freedom of speech and be near to those he can call friends.
