Please someone should explain this Northern Kingship process.

Why is he being exiled in this present age?

What was his offense?

Why is he being exiled to Nasarawa State?

Does being exiled prevent him from travelling outside Nigeria?

Will his children go exile with him?
Yes , he can't travel. As it is now, Sanusi is minus one.

paybacks a bitch, this man was responsible for the fall of intercontinental banks and many other banks that were torpedoed and sold out to cronies, capital reserve requirements were unjustly increased to frustrate god financial institutions out of business.

many were rendered jobless , reputations tarnished all because of power craze.

serves him right, nothing special about royalty, we re all royal.

Nasarawa should deport him..... Or does nasarawa now belong to Kano that they can condemn someone as a criminal then bundled him to nasarawa.

He wont be the first deposed emirate official to be sent to Lafia.

They fall within the sphere of the old caliphate. It's normal to get exiled the opposite way, from sokoto or kano to Yola or Lafia etc.

I dont exchange banter with semi-educated people.

People who's only source of information is the internet.

Do you know there is a local government called Nasarawa in Kano state?

Then go find out the facts and stop relying on infos from the internet

His family (three of the four wives and some of the children schooling in Nigeria plus his police officer son who welcomed a new baby on Saturday) arrived in the family VGC Lagos home last night. They will settle in Lagos.

I don't understand why a person of his stature ll be exiled in the 21st century.. Does it mean he cannot return to kano as an ordinary citizen? Must he go to nasarawa to dwell? Can't he travel to where he pleases and pursue his career or business.? Shat does this even mean in today's world?

That's the procedure and unwritten tradition when it comes to dethronement of a first class monarch. His Grandfather Emir Sir Muhammadu Sanusi I was deposed and exiled to Azare in Bauchi (but later died in Wudil, Kano, many years after). Also,, Emir Mustapha Jokolo of Gwandu (Kebbi State, who was ADC to the then Military President, Muhammadu Buhari) was exiled to Nasarawa.

I just want to know if it's compulsory for him to stay in Loko for life. Is that even right under the constitution?

By the way, is Loko under the Kano Emirate?

He has no choice in he matter. The deposed Emir is effectively on house arrest.
