COVID 19 And Used Clothing by thankyouJesus(m): 4:29pm On Mar 10, 2020 |
We warn all Africans not to acquire or search for used clothing during this period and also during the period to come, because in most of the European cities which are currently experiencing the spread of the Corona virus are getting rid of clothes of infected patients both dead and alive most especially in homes where people have been infected with the virus. Many of those who care about exporting these clothes do not care about the health of others and they now collect them with the intent to sell them to Africans who buy and import them to Africa. . It would be better now and for your safety and that of your children to avoid the use of newly acquired used clothing. Better safe than sorry. cc: dominique, Sissy3 |

I dont know why and how we like to believe rubbish in dis country despite claiming to have sense. First, nobody is warning anybody, dis is a made up typical naija alarmist message. Secondly, how many times have u all been told d virus needs a living host to survive? Why do we like to cry more than d bereaved in dis country |

Nbote: It may be possible that a person can get COVID-19 by touching a surface or object that has the virus on it and then touching their own mouth, nose, or possibly their eyes, but this is not thought to be the main way the virus spreads. In general, because of poor survivability of these coronaviruses on surfaces, there is likely very low risk of spread from food products or packaging that are shipped over a period of days or weeks at ambient, refrigerated, or frozen temperatures. https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/faq.html According to the WHO, coronaviruses may survive on surfaces for just a few hours or several days, although many factors will influence this, including surface material and weather. That’s why personal preventive steps like frequently washing hands with soap and water or an alcohol-based hand sanitizer, and wiping down often-touched surfaces with disinfectants or a household cleaning spray, are a good idea. https://www.health.harvard.edu/blog/as-coronavirus-spreads-many-questions-and-some-answers-2020022719004#q5 |

Nbote:Smiles.... There's no crime in admitting you've goofed earlier with your message. The more you defend yourself (your words), the more you will expose your thought patterns. It is not in my place to expose your flawed argument because if I should, you may not be comfortable with the use of my words. My lack of logical reasoning (sense) may come off as rubbish as you had earlier stated. |
