Spot on as the Emirates has been decimated by Gandollar , so is he going to sack the other Emirs and reinstate the Emirate kingdom . Movie is just starting.

The fact that Gandollar destroyed the age long Kano Emirate just to get back at Sanusi will come back to hunt him. He will soon have serious problems with the new Emir and Kano people.

Constitution was used to dethroned him, the same constitution that allow freedom of movement in Nigeria isn’t applicable to the former emir.

Failed country with confuse constitutions

I am disappointed at Sanusi for stooping so low, so very low to accept the archaic title of an Emir, Sanusi before subjecting himself to this public ridicule in the name of tradition had been a shining light, an intellectual of worthy note
Imagine an Academic double 007 with licence to libel like Ganduje, A criminal Bribe taker who aught to be in Jail banishing an intellectual who bowed to pressure to tumble from his high academic position to an emir among sprawling bands of illiterates

I smell some people are bent on making this man Sanusi contest the Apex political office in the country. In the past, he has made his ideologies known and people know where he stands. I won't be surprised one day if he's to contest and that's the only way Gandolla will not receive the full measure of the consequences of his actions.
To the embattled Emir, may Allah be with you this trying time. In Baba's voice:
Please accept, Your Royal Highness, the assurances of our highest considerations.

He castled up too early. He lost. But remember he brought influence to the emirate... The emirate needs him more than he needs them.

exactly the point

the new emir should know that from the very minute he is turbaned as Emir, he willl lack the legitimacy and respect the throne deserves based on the circumstances of his enthronement

he will be seen as the “houseboy” of the governor

i won’t want to be that guy who replaced a man so humiliated and whose position i am about to take so belittled

Zombies could be funny at times, here is a situation where an Emir was deposed and the governor is being given a standing ovation, but when Wike made jest of a second abi third class chief they were already threatening to bring down the heavens. It would take a lifetime for them to return to their senses after 2023 because their Zombism will expiry on the 29th day of may in the year 2023.
Same thing applies to another zombies like you, when Wike insulted the man you were all defending his actions, but now you are all wailing about what doesn't concern you.... We have two different types Zombies on nairaland

I can totally understand his desire to be an emir.

1. the childhood impact of seeing his revered grandfather as an emir, growing up in the palace & then he was removed, his legacy stunted. This would have made for many family stories. Young boys usually look up to their fathers & the legacy of their fathers.

2. it was the surest way to strongly influence & make an impact in his society and culture. politics is fleeting & doesn't usually command respect. You also have to be both cutthroat & an asslicker to be a successful politician.

like him like his in-law (Abiola Ajimobi) if not for the resilience of the Ibadan people, Ajimobi would have messed up the revered stool of Olubadan
