iamoyindamola:I have educated muslims as friends and they always complain about uneducated muslims like you spoiling the religion. So you voiced out your thought as expected. Get a year diploma in IT-related course, if you can't prepare and pass jamb. Don't let your illiteracy enslave you, to think nobody makes legit money in this life. |

My thoughts and prayers are with Arteta and his family, hopefully they are on self quarantine. He is young and except he has compromised lungs or other severe health issues, he should respond to treatment and be fine afterwards. We need to test all our players and have everyone on self quarantine. |

Roland17:This is really a sad day indeed. I pray Arteta and his family get beyond this . Sports must really be on hold until this virus is eliminated cos the more games are played the more possibilities of the spread. God protect us all |

Jencejyde:Not only sports but every public gathering. Also, please, I encourage everyone to practice “Social distancing”, this is very very important. This is not the time to start shaking or hugging friends/ family members. No one died from being waved at!! Wave at them and keep a very safe distance...Be smart... |

kokaneprodigy:As in I'm just pissed right now. But for real I think the major problem here is this; The Europeans and the rest of the world never really took the Corona virus serious. Most people thought it was just the Chinese problem until it boomerang and now spreading like wildfire. |

What the Premier League have said about coronavirus after Arteta and Hudson-Odoi test positive The Premier League is holding an emergency meeting on Friday morning and the fixtures schedule is expected to be suspended as a result of the coronavirus There are widespread calls for the Premier League to cancel matches in the wake of the coronavirus outbreak. La Liga in Spain and Serie A in Italy have already taken the decision to suspend their calendars for the next few weeks, while the MLS in America has called a halt to their games for 30 days. No such decision has been made in England as yet, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson admitting on Thursday that the government were "considering" banning large public events. However, the calls to suspend the season have grown in intensity since Thursday evening after there were two confirmed positive cases of the COVID-19 strain in the Premier League. The Premier League released a 45-word statement following the news of Arteta and Hudson-Odoi's positive tests. It read: "In light of Arsenal’s announcement tonight confirming that their first-team coach Mikel Arteta has tested positive for COVID-19, the Premier League will convene an emergency club meeting on Friday morning regarding future fixtures. "The Premier League will make no further comment until after that meeting." Football.london |
