I have being seeing M.Sc Taught And M.Sc Masters all over these foreign schools websites. I also want to know the difference between M.Sc General and M.Sc academics. 1 Like |

phenzy:M. Sc is either Professional Masters or Academic Masters. The former cannot proceed to P.hD and cannot be accepted to teach or lecture in any higher institution of learning. Example is MBA (Masters in Business Administration) and MSW (Master's in Social Work) The latter can proceed to P. hD, teach and lecture in any higher institution of learning. That is where you see M.Sc Physics, International Relations, or M.eD Yoruba, English et al. In some Uni, they have both Professional and academic. E. g. M.Sc Business Administration and M. A Public Administration, M. Sc Social Work. In both, you are meant to conduct a research. The difference is not too obvious over here in Nigeria but abroad it is. 3 Likes |
