It was about a week. I was checking the CEAC website for visa status obsessively every day and it kept showing up as "refused". FInally after a week it showed "Issued", I then check the ustravel visa doc website the next day and it showed the passport was ready for pickup. I think I also received an email as well the next day that the passport was ready for pickup. Of course the email didnt say if one had been issued a visa or not. In all have faith it may take a bit longer for your's to come out... maybe 2 weeks even. Hang in there. Keep checking ceac.state.gov for your visa status.

Same problem we had. Apparently you may not be able to register for immigrant visa at usvisadoc site , so how will you know ?

The immunization will be done together with the rest medical test in the designated hospital they recommend. When it time for your medical, the hospital know exactly what they want. So you’ve nothing to worry about.

Ours went from refused.. to issued in about a week. Also you didnt state if she was issued a white paper, and wether it stated that she was being considered for a waiver. If it states that she/he was being considered for a waiver then the typical timeline is a week to 2. Also was he/she's passport collected?If passport was collected thats a good sign. They gave a lot of old people too. My mum is over 60, and she was given.

Thanks for your advice. I checked CEAC this morning and there is no update , the last is that documents have been accepted, ustravelvisadoc also have nothing on her passport. As I said it is now 2 weeks and two days since her interview. Maybe... it is the Police report that is delaying because she also submitted a UK police clearance and maybe they are still checking. Maybe... Qlife has not sent her medical report on time to the consulate as some people have reported here. Maybe... they are not giving to people over 60 because of their higher coronavirus risk. Maybe...maybe...maybe...we are still waiting though and very unhappy as you will understand.

Everyone should be able to register at the usvisadoc site. We also received an email saying our passport was ready for collection. This was for the IR5 category

Good evening everyone. I got documentary qualified since Feb 3rd and still waiting for interview date. Does it take that long? Is there still hope?

Ofcourse there’s hope bro, most people who were supposed to have their interview this month were canceled and rescheduled for May because of the virus, so hopefully your interview is gonna be between June or July

So i couldnt register on visadoc initially, but prior to my mums appt I had emailed them ahead of time ( the us embassy), and was issued as username and password to use to register. I did this waaaaaay ahead of time before her interview date. So after I checked CEAC and saw that it was issued I went to visadoc and checked and saw that it was ready for pickup. I think I also received an email as well. The same way we have been receiving emails that told us when to schedule our interview date.. mind you this is for IR5. If its been a week since it showed issued on CEAC, if I were you I would just go to the VI DHL office to see if its there. Because in any case all imigrant visas are only dropped off at their VI office. Even though on visadoc, I had picked the DHL office at Oshodi Isolo, the passport wasnt there, as all imigrant visa passport is sent to VI.

We did not register for DHL and going to check all the way from Benin only to find it is not at DHL VI will not be funny o.
Also even though we were able to register on visadoc yesterday it only shows registration form for interview which we have already done so we don’t need that form. After login how do you check whether your documents are ready for collection? Visadoc mentioned that you will be notified by email and SMS if your documents are ready.

I also think it should be the responsibility of DHL to alert you that you have your documents with them for collection. I am only using my common sense though . Nothing is going normally any more

As well as checking CEAC website which i have provided the link above.. also on the us travel.doc website... there was a part for passport tracking which when you click showed that passport was ready for pickup.I mean if one has not registered for us travel .doc I dont know if you will still get an email? As long as CEAC and everything else says passport ready for pickup, if i were in your shoes I would go to the DHL dropbox office to pick up my passport by faith, and start travel plans before a global lockdown. WIth all this coronavirus, if I were in your shoes I wont waste time on the internet, worrying ...and waiting for an email. Thats what I would do.. but hey I'm not you.
