No creditor after due diligence will borrow $21bn to a Nation whose single source of income is on a steady decline coupled with the global health challenge that affected even more economically viable nations...I knew the borrowing would hit the rocks To God be the glory

If we are borrowing money like this as a nation on this fragile economy, can we also borrow sense in larger proportion

Thank God we were miraculously protected from Coronavirus, Nigerian economy would have been brought to its knees within days.

After five years in government, they now remember that the country should diversify. The should first sack Buhari as Minister of Petroleum, the man has failed in the oil sectors, the refineries are still not working, NNPC can't even supply gas to the thermal power plant yet these people what to industrialised.

He said, “As we are all aware, Nigeria is working on diversifying its economy as well as its revenue sources. The need to develop other channels of generating revenue and foreign exchange is critical.

“This need is further underscored by the recent drop in the global price of crude oil, which also constitutes a major threat to achieving planned government expenditure.

Tell people the honest truth madam. The only asset you can use as security was revenue from oil sales. Now that oil has nose dived, no sane external lender wants to do business with Nigeria. No viable capacity to pay. Everyone is trying avoid another Lebanese story.
