IPOB and Igbo intellectuals fought the government with regards to the recklessness of their borrowing. Also, IPOB informed China that upon Biafra independence soon, not a single penny of that loan would be repaid by Biafra as non of the largess has been allocated to the development of Biafraland, reason China declined Nigeria the loan facility. Don’t mind the quota system Finance Minister and her lies...... 3 Likes 2 Shares |

Herdsmen: $17billion is from Chinese EXIM bank and china don't care, others are from Germany (siemens) , France (French development bank) Saudi, and little bit from world bank so even if everyone pulls out Germany China and France would never pull out |

Can you see why it is not good to rush into things. Had we taken the loan already is it from the 30 dollar a barrel oil we will be servicing 22 billion dollars. A tragedy will have become a calamity. To do what with it.... digitalize NTA et al. Can we now see that is not a priority for this country and a lot of things on that shopping list. Now that we can no longer rely on the international community for investment, loans or trade good leadership will turn inwards to inspire the nation to be self sufficient, to build its roads, bridges, rail lines, hospitals and schools by itself...by sacrifice and patriotism. But how can our present leaders inspire us when they are exactly the opposite of what they would and should preach. Selfish, wasteful, corrupt and having next to zero credibility. 1 Like 1 Share |
