It's wrong for you to copy an article verbatim, though you referenced the source, still, you could have done a little bit of modification.
Back to the story, man has always sought better means of survival. The researchers have clearly stated that; less freezing temperatures and availability of edible plants were reasons people migrated to such enclaves.
Ordinarily, man would love to remain alive and will seek to move to more favourable environments.
So it isn't unsual to uncover human relics in such enclaves since humans inhabited there thousands of years ago.
