These people have no sense.

The government should not reduce the petrol price. Instead it should keep the unexpected profits and channel it into any of the critical areas like power, health, education or the fight against Boko Haram.

Why is this APC government so useless ?

At $57/barrel, if petrol was sold at N145/gallon, how much will be the price of petrol/gallon with oil at $24/barrel?

Any mathematician in the house?

If you get N61/gallon, the answer is right.

Why not seize the opportunity to totally remove the subsidy and float the price like that of DPK diesel.

The subsidy amount will remain steady. The thieves we have in government will conveniently flex the cash.

Now that the federal government has reduced the price of fuel to #125 per litre, filling station owners will not reduce it, claiming that they lifted the product at a higher price. But, if the federal government increase the fuel pump price higher, they will not complain that they lifted the product at a lower price.
I believe that this reduction will not bring about artificial scarcity.
