The US has approved the anti-malarial drug chloroquine for use as a treatment against the new coronavirus, President Donald Trump said Thursday.

“We’re going to be able to make that drug available almost immediately, and that’s where the FDA (Food and Drug Administration) has been so great,” Trump told reporters.

“They’ve gone through the approval process – it’s been approved. They took it down from many, many months to immediate. So we’re going to be able to make that drug available by prescription.”

chloroquine is a hard drug for malaria. it will stop coronavirus

What baffles me is that chloroquine was made for malaria and it even failed. Because malaria has proven to be resistance against chloroquine but some how chloroquine is dealing with a dreaded virus curing people within six days.
Who would have thought that rejected chloroquine will become the hero of the day.

We never really value what we have.I know a lot of Nigerian doctors that have been saying Chloroquine will help in reducing the effects of covid19....well ,better than nothing.

That drug can cause severe itching for at least 3 days. I dreaded that antimalarial back then.

This is not a go ahead for people to abuse the drug. Allow doctors assess you and prescribe the appropriate treatment for your system. DONT GO AND BUY ALL THE CHLOROQUINE YOU CAN SEE AND START HOARDING IT
