The handwork of his royal highness. The engineers na bricklayers wey give themselves the designation "engineers". Dem many like that for the building industry. The one excuse I'd buy into is that, there's a site somewhere around the red mark that needed protection. |

The stretch space isn't much for a smooth slope downwards move for vehicles coming from the top so a circle needs to be made in which as you go round you don't only circle but also doing a downward move to enable the vehicle archive both a smooth upwards and downwards movement, I studied petroleum and gas engineering though. |

To slow the car down. The road was straight. Constant accidents made them construct that thing. That's what my friend here told me |

u uploaded only the aerial view! would you mind mentioning the road or locality coz someone may need to study something as basic as a contour map, and or geological profile of the construction area to get a better understanding( even though it would be limited as decision are made by team with huge access to data) |

All those una excuse for up there about to slow the vehicle down na just Akiko. Them tell una say the vehicles no come with brakes? The mistake above is inexplicable and an amateurish defect in construction. EOD. |

To give enough headroom for the train and cargo movements If connected directly straight ahead from the exit ramp, the angle of inclination will be small. Hence the needs for the outward curvature to gradually gain height. Good design and good thinking. 3 Likes |

That's the effect of good planning to make there is enough allowance for train to pass through and also give a smooth descent for traffic approach to the major road connecting. 3 Likes |

Snipper007:Seconded The difference btw the grade and at-grade is much... Therefore introducing a straight flight will be too steep.. I believe that was why the gradient was applied to allow constant climb for incoming vehicles 1 Like |
