The US is trying several drugs including chloroquine. Why don't you also approve the other drugs too for clinical trial.

I don't seem to understand what's going with this Covid-19 issue, Different countries are just coming up with different drugs every day, Isreal said they have discovered the Vaccine, Same with Australia and a German company the US contracted.
Now I am hearing Nigerians are dying of chloroquine poisoning as a result of what Trump said that it can cure the virus, Which one person go believe sef?

Dear Nigerian Authorities,

It’s not the best of times for hospitals in Nigeria. There has been a dearth of information from the authorities, except for WHO and the public announcements we read in the newspapers & social media by the minister of health and NCDC.

Consequently, all hospitals are hardly making any preparations, as they have no official information from the authorities on what is being done at the country or state level and what should be done at the facility level. Response at the healthcare facility level seems left to chance. Facilities are left to fend for themselves. (We are only relying on WHO and SCCM websites for info).

Several things need to happen to prepare local healthcare facilities for the upsurge in cases that might be reported in the next few days/weeks.
1. National COVID-19 dashboard to monitor cases. Official source of truth.
2. Guidelines for escalation of cases. Phone numbers, addresses, online reporting, contact persons
3. Provision of COVID-19 test kits, PPEs for medical personnel.
4. Pre-deployment training for staff on the frontlines
5. Facility-focused Communication from any national, state or local authorities.
The above will be the starting point in fighting emerging COVID-19 epidemic in Nigeria.
