Please guys I am confused now. WES sent my documents to my institution for verification. My institution responded electronically and my status was updated to In progress on 18th March, and aftter two days, my status changed to on hold on 20th March. What might be the actual problem please.

Please any help?

Here in the US, IELTS test has been suspended until further notice. I believe it's the same in other countries. WES has temporarily suspended all in-office operations. Documents that reached their office after March 10, 2020 should expect delays. With these disruptions and delays, I see the score dropping to the 460s and late 450s as you said (not so soon because some applications are already in the loop but eventually) in the next couple of weeks/months.
Those in the 460s and late 450s should get their docs ready because there is still hope for ITA.
Well, this will only happen if IRCC continues to hold draws within this period.

Hello
Please house I have a quick question.
I’ve seen some other threads with people saying CIPM evaluation with Wes gives 3 year Canadian degree equivalent.
I have a B.sc and CIPM though i just processed my transcripts to Wes for evaluation recently.
Can i apply with 2 certificates( CIPM + B.Sc) and get extra points with my CIPM certificate?

I wanted to apply as a couple with a friend but he hasn’t completed his masters. If i’ll be the Principal applicant i need to be sure i’ll get points with my CIPM.
I’ll appreciate a response on what to do. Thank you
bsc and cipm is two or more degrees
niyogeol:
Hi, I know of people using CIMA and BCS to claim two or more certificates but not CIPM. But you can wait and see the response of other people because one can't say if someone has evaluated that successfully in the past. You could also reach out to those evaluating bodies on Twitter or other social media accounts to enquire.

As regards to you wanting to marry a friend to claim couple, it sounds more like you planning sham marriage to me. And what happens after getting to Canada, divorcing each other? If my memory serves me right, you still have to wait three years to be able to do that. If you are still young, why not do the CIMA or BCS certification and have rest of mind when you turn in your application?

Wednesday's skipped draw really hit me in the chest embarassed. ECA came in on the 6th (after 4 months) and I dove into the pool on the 7th. All supporting docs were already merged and waiting to be uploaded. Walahi I was so excited, I don't think I slept properly in the week leading up to the expected draw. I just went through the motions at work on Thursday and Friday (good thing we're writing exams... There's nothing worse than a dejected Maths teacher!). I just kept thinking "If COVID-19 leads to a change in EE, shey CRS of 481 go just waste niyen??"
I'm better today sha. My fellow Canadians-in-diaspora, let's stay strong and hope for the best. It will end in praise.

Possibly, if regular draws are conducted with reasonable number of ITAs, CRS will definitely drop. Considering the fact that they have higher admission target this year. But I also suspect they might also be seeking best of the best applications which might not make the Crs fall below 459/460.

Ermm...I don’t think he/she was complaining. I also felt that same way when I had to wait for almost 2 months to get ITA when i finally passed IELTS after multiple attempts . Biko we all have different race to run, let the person vent. You don’t know how long he/she has been on this journey. It is sha not your rant ,lolz.

Don’t worry, this too shall pass. Just use this time to get all necessary documents ready so you can submit as soon as you get ITA.

if you have only bsc with that scores you wont score up to 67/100 in the eligibility grid

Hello people!
I'm new here, but please I need urgent advice regarding proof of fund!

1. I have had this fund for sometime (about 3 years) and have been rolling it over with FD/T-bills (depending on margin at the time) though in same
bank and linked to same account.
Since I have to provide 6 months statement of account which won't necessarily show initial source of the fund or how it was accumulated (no other
significant transactions like salary payment in the account), will this raise any red flag?

2. With yesterday's devaluation of Naira (380/1$) by the CBN, my proof of fund at stake!
If the naira falls beyond this rate, I may may not meet up minimum fund requirement.

I have the fund in t-bills and I'm considering liquidating on Monday and moving it to a 'new' usd dom acct in same bank.
Will this move affect my application in any way, as i plan to submit almost immediately ITA is received (crs- 476)?

Please good people, help me articulate this my whole proof of fund situation so i won't make any silly mistake. Thanks

CAD is also failing. So translate you pof using cad to naira rate.
If the money was in your account 6 months ago no one will ask for source. Convert to dollars and provide trail/explanation it was converted from the naira funds shikena

Good day. Please for applicants post ITA and any other member that can give suggestion on this should please help.

My friend is about getting in to the pool but there is a challenge. Her international passport is in her maiden name (it's not going to expire till 2022). She applied for a new one in her married name and already captured ( but passport is not ready due to scarcity of booklet where she captured)

1. Do you advise she gets into the EE pool with her maiden name. Would she be able to change this post ITA. (date on marriage certificate and other proofs of legal name change would be pre submission of EE profile) hope it won't raise a red flag post ITA

2. Or she go ahead with her married name (issue with this is date of issue and expiration of passport) since the one available is in her maiden name.

3. She has a good score and is concern with tie breaking rule. So wants to create a profile as soon as possible. Would have opted out to waiting for the new passport in married name which seems not forthcoming.

I am pre ITA, so i don't know what post ITA forms look like to give the necessary advice and i don't want to misguide her. Thank you
