What are you saying? Closing borders was and is the way to curtail the spread of the virus. This thing started in China. If Nigeria closed borders on time how would it have gotten here? CutieKing: |

Stupid people. It is not enough that they risked the lives of 200 Million Nigerians just to bring in Buhari's daughter. Now, they want to bring in more disease. Buhari is a health disaster. |

juman:It makes no sense because the virus does not discriminate. No exceptions should be made. Even if the president is abroad, he should remain there till everything calms down. If there is a special need for an aircraft landing, the passengers should never be allowed to go home, they should be locked up for a month with regular testing. But these idiots just want to collect passengers' info and let them go home. |

CutieKing:SMH. Closing border is the most effective way to prevent the spread. The virus cannot swim the Atlantic ocean to get into Nigeria. It was brought here by irresponsible carriers who should have stayed back to enjoy their country. It makes absolute sense to bar disease carriers from putting the lives of 200 million at risk. It even make sense to shoot at sight if they refuse to comply with protective instructions. Anyone flying at the moment should be treated as a belligerent disease carrier. |

ivolt:Most airlines have stopped or stopping their flights in most part of the world because of little number of passengers available. It just few planes that would be considered under the headline. Of course those with symptom of the virus would be taken away for treatment. While the others from corona prone areas would be told to do self-quarantine. |

Planes are still flying. See the latest snapshot ..... Just that much more stringent health safety measures, should be in place.

juman:Self-quarantine is deceitful. People can spread the disease without showing symptoms. A returnee will interact with at least 5 people before they get to their destination. Even when they get home, they will be welcomed by family members putting them at risk. How do you trace those victims? Meanwhile, 2 more planes landed in Abuja from the UK yesterday. |
