The media has blown this out of proportion to create panic! When this is over and done with, Mark my words, the flu season or malaria of 2019 -2020 will look much worse!

When you flatten the curve you also lengthen the curve. The Global cartels willing to go 6 months or more with this? Going 6 months will destroy the economy and usher in a depression. Why is this necessary for a virus that is a little worse than H1N1, which we did nothing for?

If this corona virus escalates in Nigeria, people like you should be arrested and punished for your role in spreading the virus.
The goal is not to make people panicky but to encourage them to protect themselves so we don't record as much death as the likes of Italy and China due to the pandemic

Please don't be carried by the coincidence though: For A.B.I.A really stands for (A)ba (B)ende (I)sikwuato (A)rochukwu. The four major zones of the state, that's all.
Religious connotation can bring falsehoods.
.
Can someone dispute this please. Beside, becos a place is mentioned in the Bible does not mean that such place is immune to calamities. Sodom n Gomorrah were mentioned in the bible yet they were destroyed by God. Even Shiloh. where Hannah prayed ended up in pain n agony. So Mr Governor, be careful. Don't treat religion as an opium of the masses n heart of heartless.

The only Nigerian State mentioned in Bible 30 times in these places.

The Bible was translated mainly from Hebrew and Greek.

Abia is the Greek word for the Hebrew word : 'Abijah', 'Abijam', 'Abiyyah', 'Abiyyah', ''Abiyyahu'.

Abia means “Yahweh Is My Father” or "My Father is Lord".

Abia is the name of an Eastern State in Nigeria created in the year 1991 from part of Imo State.

It is an Igbo Land whose Capital is Umuahia, and the major commercial city is Aba.

Let us see these 30 places in the Bible.

1 Samuel 8:2

Now the name of his firstborn was Joel; and the name of his second, Abia: they were judges in Beersheba.

1 Chronicles 2:24

2 Chronicles 11:22

And Rehoboam made Abia the son of Maachah the chief, to be ruler among his brethren: for he thought to make him king.

2 Chronicles 12:16

And Rehoboam slept with his fathers, and was buried in the city of David: and Abia his son reigned in his stead.

2 Chronicles 13:1

Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam began Abia to reign over Judah.

2 Chronicles 13:2

He reigned three years in Jerusalem. His mother's name also was Michaiah the daughter of Uriel of Gibeah. And there was war between Abia and Jeroboam.

2 Chronicles 13:3

And Abia set the battle in array with an army of valiant men of war, even four hundred thousand chosen men: Jeroboam also set the battle in array against him with eight hundred thousand chosen men, being mighty men of valour.

2 Chronicles 13:4

And Abia stood up upon mount Zemaraim, which is in mount Ephraim, and said, Hear me, thou Jeroboam, and all Israel;

2 Chronicles 13:15

Then the men of Judah gave a shout: and as the men of Judah shouted, it came to pass, that God smote Jeroboam and all Israel before Abia and Judah.

2 Chronicles 13:17

And Abia and his people slew them with a great slaughter: so there fell down slain of Israel five hundred thousand chosen men.

2 Chronicles 13:22

And the rest of the acts of Abia, and his ways, and his sayings, are written in the story of the prophet Iddo.

2 Chronicles 14:1

So Abia slept with his fathers, and they buried him in the city of David: and Asa his son reigned in his stead. In his days the land was quiet ten years.

1 Kings 14:1

At that time Abia the son of Jeroboam fell sick.

1 Kings 15:1

Now in the eighteenth year of king Jeroboam the son of Nebat reigned Abiaover Judah.

1 Kings 15:7-8

Now the rest of the acts of Abia, and all that he did, are they not written in the book of the chronicles of the kings of Judah? And there was war between Abia and Jeroboam.

If African Christians opened their bible and ask for understanding they will discard that white Jesus who is really Ceasar Bogere the second son of pope Alexander of Rome.

This is the kind of thing that inspired Charles Darwin to embrace the theory of Natural Selection. If you want to weed out your garden, just put your hands in your pockets and watch.

Just like every other flu we have known throughout the history of mankind. Should you not shake hands? Of course, Should you wash your hands regularly? Always. Should you stay home if you are sick? Certainly.

Ridiculous! Some People are easily manipulated! Once you give up your Rights and Civil Liberties for safety sake , you have given up all your freedom! The Government owns you. This is not what our ancestors fought and died for.
And another mor.on is born .

Isn't it just ironic, and I must say, sad, that while serious minded people of all shades and of all climes are working day and night to save lives, to contain a deadly pandemic, lesser minded, less evolved species are fanning the flames of confusion, fear and paranoi with very very low-IQ conspiracy theories? undecided
