I am scared how my brother and his business colleagues came back to Nigeria today, from China, without any form of test at the airport both in Lagos and port Harcourt. I pleaded with him not to go home for the sake of his family and our mum is in his house. I was thinking he was supposed to be quarantined or at least be addressed/advised on self isolation. Not even his temperature was checked at the airports. He can’t isolate himself in his house with kids all around. Our airports are as free as if we are celebrating Christmas. It is scary. Nobody seems to be doing anything to prevent the spread of this virus.

Nothing works in this country. Money had been allocated for these, but who are the people responsible for checking people that just entered the country at the airport?

If this is actually true, then we have more than 5000cases in Nigeria already. Forget all those figures from NCDC. My prayer is for this vaccine to come out soon. After we have deceived ourselves that hot weather kills it and it doesn't affect black man and all that crap. The man flew in a plane for Christ sake! Then he had a stop-over. Before he got on another plane to Nigeria. Do you now see the numerous potential ways, places he could have contracted the virus? At the boldened, how sure are you?
