But are you sure it is a Boomslang? It is brown, and has some darker patches of brown in different parts of its body.
10000% sure that's a Boomslang, don't let the color fool you.. Boomslangs are different from other snakes when it comes to their sexes.
The male Boomslangs are usually bright colours ranging in different Green colours.
That's the male, Female Boomslangs on their other hand are Brown and dark in colour.
They're the only snakes you can different their sex by color.
Make your research, Don't just view Google's pictures, Read articles about em and you can even search Female Boomslang and Search Male Boomslangs afterwards

Yeah Mr professor. I never knew boomslangs came in that kind of colour. I also never had an idea their eyes were like that.
Your Sarcasm in this situation is pointless, if you knew Boomslangs came in that color and the eyes, you won't tell people it's nonvenomous.. You think because it's not Green in colour it's not a Boomslang, maybe you should take your time to know the difference between the color of a female and male Boomslang

Who knows the name of this snake? I killed it in my house this morning. It is very small...like the size of a long earthworm...I would say just about 10 inches long.

I stay in a 4 bedroom bungalow, and I left the living room empty, as I only use two out of the rooms in the house (I stay alone). So, this morning, I went out to buy something and as I walked in through the kitchen door and into the living room, I saw the thing staying still in the living room. (From the way it was positioned, I could tell it came in from the guest toilet). At first I thought it was dead, cos I keep a bottle with Sniper by the guest toilet. I thought maybe the thing affected it or so, and it died. I stood still myself and watched it. Next thing, I saw the head move slightly. I didn't want to leave its sight, so I grabbed a broom nearby and threw it at it. It hit it and it started struggling to move on the tiled floor and get towards the toilet...but it couldn't move well on the tile. I ran towards it and stamped it out a few times with my leg. It kept moving around. I picked up the broom and hit it on the head a couple of times till it stopped moving.

I won't lie, even though the snake was tiny I was a bit scared. After killing it, I cleaned my whole house within minutes. Lol. Thank God I don't have much in the house, so there is really no hiding place. After clearing every corner, I poured sniper in every corner and went out. I just came back, hoping to meet a dead snake or something, but I guess that snake was the only one that came in.

This looks like a Rat snake. Rid your house of all Rats and you won't have to worry about sightings like this.

You have poor knowledge about measurements.
A "10 inch" distance is less than a school children ruler. ..as in, less than a foot. That's over 1 meter!

I believe you now. I saw the male on my neighbor's wall last year...green and small. I thought it was a harmless snake.

Trust me, I know measurements. Don't let the camera pics fool you. That snake wasn't more than 10-11 inches long. You can see how big the ants look beside it...that's because of the camera.

Last picture gave it away! The eyes and shape of head..

Dear OP, you're a lucky man. I read where you even used your feet to stamp on it.

HOLY MOLLY!!!!!! THAT IS A BOOMSLANG!!!!!! You're a lucky man..

My instincts alerted me to be scared of it, but I had to kill it before it went into hiding. That would have been a bigger threat.

lol! They didn't waste time at all. In fact, they were more than that. I had to slam cutlass on them a few times, till some dispersed and I was able to take a clearer picture of the snake.

lol! I guess the camera angle made it look longer. Actually, I am 7 inches down there...that's how I was able to estimate how long the snake is from looking at it. It appeared just a few inches longer than my stuff.

Your camera actually played a trick here......was thinking it should be up to 25" at least

Na...not at all. If it was that long, I don't think I would have had the guts to stamp on it like that. It's actually very very small...like a long earthworm.

You guys have scared me with all the "boomslang" talk. I just went to talk to my neighbor about it. His bungalow is far more porous than mine, and the man told me to squash bitter kola and spread all around my house. He said they would never near my house again as they hate the smell.

I no get time to dey argue with you since what you see in the OPs last picture is a circular head to you... You should educate yourself more before trying to school others online and maybe you should search more bout Boomslangs than describing snakes by their heads.
Any Blind mind would see clearly by the head and mouth that can be opened up between 170-180 degrees that its a Boomslang but carry on with your rat snake rant
