Offcourse thats no news..muslims can continue living in denial. The quran is a mix of what muhammad learnt about the jews and christianity and his own ideas of how things ought to be. Interestingly parts of the infancy gospel of thomas found its way to the quran, there where many other apocryphal books popular in the middle east around the time of muhammad, which was obviously the reason for his confusion while seeking out the truth.
Another issue was his supposed temporal lobe epilepsy/ bipolar personality which made him hallucinate clearly at least at some points alongside the obvious grandiouse delusions, unusually high sex drive, etc.

So the Prophet Muhammad referred to in the Hadith you quoted was your Lord Jesus right?

The Quran, Muhammad and Muslims deny the crucifixion of Christ because Satan and demons were defeated by that occurrence and Satan hates being reminded of that event that occurred at Calvary.

However Muhammad was quoting Jesus words on the cross.




Muhammad denied the crucifixion of Christ but that part he quoted was the word of Jesus on the cross



This re-emphasizes the fact that Jesus is forgiving, he forgave those persecuting him even at the point of death.

This forgiving nature was not displayed by Muhammad as he was cursing the jews and the Christians when he was about to die.

This also proves that Muhammad either read or heard the gospel when he was alive.
