Coronavirus: Nigeria Confirms Five New Cases, Total Now 51 by temi4christ(op): 8:22am On Mar 26, 2020
The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has confirmed five new cases of the pandemic coronavirus in the country as Rivers state gets its first case.

NCDC reported that, two of the new cases are in Lagos, two are in Abuja while the remaining one is in Rivers state.

With the new confirmed cases, Nigeria now has 51 cases with two patients discharged and one death, as of Wednesday evening, March 25.

The NCDC seems to be ontop of this. We can only support them by being responsible for our own lives.

40 million Nigerians have BVN verified bank accounts. It will cost the FG only ₦100 billion to pay ₦250k into each account so Nigerians can buy food for themselves and their families during the #CoronaVirus lockdown. If Nigeria can budget ₦150 billion for a National Assembly of less than 500 legislators, then why can’t we spend ₦100 billion paying each of the 40 million Nigerian BVN linked account ₦250k to cushion the effects of #COVID19? We should not only share money during election
Federal government should support every citizen with some money
