The first thing to do to stop the spread of coronavirus is to lock down the whole state, So many people are walking with the virus without symptoms. I pray Lagos should not be another epicentre. The more you delayed the total lock down, the more the first solution to the virus
Tell me what will sustain you for the lock down?

Hmmm, won't be easy o, but it's better to stay home now and suffer from hunger than to eventually have to stay home later and suffer from hunger plus corona
How? Lol...You are guaranteed(100%) to be killed by hunger, while you have only a 4-5% chance of been killed by coronavirus.

Great

With this, risk factors have been reduced to the minimum level.

Lagos seems to be getting it right with her choice of leaders.

Always snowballing ahead of the country.

Jakande did it with housing and efforts towards railway

Tinubu did it with Local Government creation, power and sport facility

Fashola did it in tackling Ebola, in housing, in water, primary health care, education, BRT, security, Free Trade Zones, etc

Ambode did it in building bridges

Sanwo-Olu has started his own as well
It's a really good one for Lagos State.

This is what commonsense should tell people, but no in Nigeria commonsense even amongts the leaders is as scarce as an original hand sanitizer now.
You are telling people whose survival depends on what they get on a daily basis to stay at home because Corona would kill them.
Meanwhile hunger would kill 10x more.
In societies where these restriction orders are being implemented, serious palliatives are being handed out,but here, despite the fact our poverty levels are 200x those of the west, nothing.
How they would feed no plan;how their children would feed no plan;how they will get money to pay for hospital bill if any of them falls sick,no plan.
Just "stay at home",period!

Keep quiet and enter ur house, with all the money spent, the state is still in that state. Other African cities are building theirs with lesser funds and you are here celebrating those who have stolen ur future. No Nigerian politician from any state is worth celebrating. Where is the health care now? Upon all the billions how many ventilators do we have in the country and you re still there celebrating emptiness. Smh

Something should be done about Mile12 international market though. I know it's a food market, but that place is always congested and dirty.

Which one con remain?? This are all major markets in the state.

This would hit differently in "daily earners" those that feed directly in their daily earning.

Crime rate about to go up.
Mile 12 Market is open and that's the biggest foodstuff market feeding other major food markets in Lagos and entire southwest.
Also Oyingbo foodstuff market and Ojuwoye markets in Mushin are open..
With these listed major food markets and others in everyone's neighborhood, we won't go hungry in Lasgidi.
