The Experiencing Naija Team visited the 800-year old mystic wonder of nature known simply as Idanre Hills, Ondo State in 2018 as part of its tour around Nigeria to document the beautiful tourist sites, mystical places and landscapes dotted around the country. Idanre Hills holds more magic than can be explained here.


Idanre is a little but historic town in Ondo State, Nigeria. The town is located at the foot of the scenic hill which is of exceptional cultural and environmental importance and attracts many tourists.

The town is controversially divided into a three-leader Rule, with the three localities of Atosin, Alade and Odode , which is also known as Ode-Idanre.

Although Ode Idanre is said to be the Major Township with the most Population and Land Area, the others have always been recognized by the occupants individually. The people’s major food is, mixed okra soup and pounded yam, pounded yam been a very popular dish in the state.
Conspiracy theorists will definitely have a field day watching this as it highlights details which are capable of changing or confirming recorded timelines of the world.
