You guys who see such movies, how did you really cope with the language & comprehension abeg? e no gree me comprehend iswear. If to say Britain still they use that language, and based on say we day use British English, my bro, English for follow for one of the hardest subjects for secondary school. My bro, that year in high school, many folks failed Literature in English cause of Hamlet. You go day see things like "to be or not to be" , " to die to sleep", "tis thy come my king".

Hamlet, Julius Ceasar, Romeo&Juliet, Silas Marner & Doctor Faustus(really enjoyed this one irrespective of the challenge in proper comprehension). These books really give person tough time.

Omo my GEE, my head just dey turn upside down. I almost came down with an headache until I stopped trying too hard to literally understand all the dialogue and lingua. grin

If to say I had read Macbeth before seeing the movie ehn, I for Jakpa I swear.
If I had watched it when I was around 12/13yrs old when I just read Julius Caesar, I would have fared better. cheesy I had enthusiasm for the literature then. grin

LMAO, thank God I wasn't an art student instead I for die reading Macbeth, Hamlet and Romeo and Juliet. grin You go dey hear English like "Hath thou cometh to take thy Life" "who goes thee" "from whence thou cometh from" grin grin

I saw art students wielding the Hamlet book with pride then, but I dared not borrow it from them, instead na harlequin romance novels I dey collect, although I planned to read it someday. grin grin

Lol, I disliked the visuals and Cinematography too, I just forced myself through it cos of Cavill.

I didn't even like the Portrayal of the gods sef, all of them being too skinny and all that and also looking too young and almost same age, without much thought to their peculiarities and looks. I still enjoyed Luke Evans performance though.

What video format did you watch the film in?

If it was 480p, you done fvck up.

The Devil's Advocate.

This movie is a masterpiece. Fantastic performance from Keanu Reeves and Charlize Theron. Al Pacino stole the whole show.

Dialogue was awesome, acting was breathtaking, story was so original and more importantly, this movie amongst many goes to show awesome movies doesn't really require peeshun peeshun. grin

It's 9.4/10 for me.

Al Pacino was hospitalized for severe back pains after carrying the whole movie on his back.

The biggest mistake people keep making is watching a very visual film on a low resolution.

When a video resolution is low, the visuals will also be of low quality, it's not a rocket science.

720p hevc is ideal, or better yet go for 1080 hevc for maximum effect. At this resolution, the sweat pores are very visible.

LMAO, that's definitely not a film I'll be willing to splash such data on. I reserve such for special movies (i.e Joker) and BIG movies from DC like Wonder Woman, Batman or Black Adam.

And that's if I didn't catch it on Cinema. I rarely do that for films I can barely see a 480p quality, and the only option is 720p or higher. grin

Sharrap. You dey pay for person data? See your wide mouth like 720p. A 720p episode is like 500mb alone. A 720p movie is at leas 1.8 gig. Then a 1080p movie is from 2.5 gig above

360p is good enough sef.

Am not really a horror fanatic, so little things a horror fanatic might see as nothing, may seem a big deal for me (Am talking about the scary parts).

Lol, for where. I'm not a horror fanatic oo. I kinda get disgusted by horror movies back then sef. I never really liked them especially those annoying Zombie movies and slasher horror films.

All that changed when I stumbled on The Conjuring 2. That franchise changed my prejudice for that Genre, and now it's become a staple I include in my movie variety. grin
I'm following that Franchise everywhere for better for worse. grin

Funny thing is I was scared shitless when I first watched The Conjuring 2 and I utterly loved the Story. Now, when I watch things far scarier than it I rarely scare that much, at times I laugh at some Horror scenes sef. The Conjuring 2 messed up my mind and thoughts for a week, but now I'll laugh at its scenes. cheesy

360p is good enough sef.

A 1080p hevc encoded movie is typically 800mb

A 720p hevc encoded movie alternates between 500mb-650mb.

Always go for HEVC. it's data saving while giving you the same quality as the original x264 encode.

Go Karts(2020)...5/10
Genre: Family

Very much predictable & cliché storyline. It basically seemed like a karate kid on wheels.
Acting was weak AF, music score was nothing to write home about.
Looking on the bright side, it had very few funny moments, cinematography was ok & the underlying message was also good, which makes it a good watch for the kids.

The Light House 8/10

Two lighthouse keepers try to maintain their sanity while living on a remote and mysterious New England island in the 1890s.

The picture starts off with an ominous setting, establishing a sense of creepiness and an impending doom, then rapidly descends into a masturbation fest! (no pun intended). My mind was constantly jerked off as I tried to make sense of what lay before me. A movie that doesn't shy away from disgusting frames, filled with well-polished humour, and a story that ropes you in and throws you off a cliff while jerking off to your falling screams.

Willem Dafoe and Robert Pattison put out an impressive performance, I won't be forgetting these crazy pair anytime soon! the cinematography and score was notable, the use of black and white was genius.

The way they spoke in this film has got to be the most confusing and yet hillarious way to speak after brad pitts' in snatch.

Bloodshot 2/10.

Low budget, B action movie. It is like they saved the budget for the last fight scene.

The plot is simple and daft. The cinematography is dead. Then the obvious sexing up of the 2 females in the main character's life.

It is like a retarded and poorer version of Micheal Bay directed this movie.

The thing I hate most about this movie is Vin Diesel. The guy cannot act. He should change his name to Vin Palm Oil since the only thing he knows how to do is flex his yams

That guy na beans and bread. As I saw trailer ehn, I know tis flopping.

The guy just dey rinse and repeat same shite every day.

Fair movie. Great cast. Nice plot. Apart from d title character, Two other characters stood out 4 me the little girl n the other guy on clutches. Both elevated dis movie wit their humor n acting. Dat little girl can act. D guy dat played shazam wasn't funny but he tried.

It depends on the encoding group. PSA group have some of the smallest hevc encodes on the planet.

I always go for their 720p because they never exceed 650mb.

Yeah, it's compressed. It literally stands for High Efficiency Video Coding.

It's the best way to watch a quality resolution in a smaller size.

Immortals (2011) ........7/10

Even though most of the mythical Story was overly swapped and twisted, it was enjoyable. It was a nice Greek Epic, still doesn't hold up to Troy or 300 — my ALL TIME GREEK FAVORITE EPICS storywise .
Nice acting from the Villain and Henry Cavill, good to know he had Headlined a big action flick before donning the Cape. Good action scenes, still hold up tight. Love the tone. Nice shapely yansh from that Priestess mate, wonder why she looks so much like Zoe Kravitz face mixed with another actress I'm trying hard to remember?

Wonder when I'll see a nice Greek Epic portrayed to almost factual Accuracy without too much liberties and swapping. Prolly only Hercules tales gets right to some extent and maybe 300/Troy.
This is my favorite genre before mehn, Greek or Roman Epics especially their Pantheons, too bad present day Hollywood got no time for ancient history/religion nowadays.

Now I make do with Fantasy.

Have you watched The Odyssey 1997
All time best Greek films. If you never watch am go download asap.
