ABDULKABIR ALIU FOUNDATION SCHOLARSHIP PROGRAMME - CALL FOR APPLICATION
INTRODUCTION
The Administrators of the Abdulkabir Aliu Foundation are pleased to announce the commencement of its
2019/2020 scholarship programme for Muslim students in Nigerian Universities.
Interested and duly qualified students are enjoined to carefully go through this document and pay attention to the
qualifying criteria for the different categories of scholarship as follows:
 Undergraduate scholarship for students in 12 qualifying federal universities
 Undergraduate scholarship for orphans and vulnerable students at the University of Maiduguri
 Undergraduate and Postgraduate scholarship for students of Ede origin
CRITERIA FOR THE AWARD

Scholarship
a) Must be a bona fide student in any of the under listed universities:
- University of Ibadan (UI)
- Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile-Ife (OAU)
- University of Lagos, Akoka (UNILAG)
- Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB)
- Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA)
- Federal University Oye-Ekiti (FUOYE)
- University of Ilorin (UNILORIN)
- Federal University of Technology, Minna (FUTMINNA)
- Usumanu Danfodiyo University, Sokoto (UDUS)
- Federal University Dutsin-Ma, Katsina (FUDMA)
- University of Abuja (UofA)
- University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT)
b) Must maintain a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA(2nd Class Upper Division)
c) Must be of good character
2. Undergraduate
Scholarship for Orphans
and Vulnerable students
a) Must be a bona fide student of the University of Maiduguri
b) Must maintain a minimum of 2.5/5.0 CGPA(2nd Class Lower Division)
c) Must be of good character
3. Undergraduate and
Postgraduate
scholarship for students
of Ede origin
a) Must be a bona fide student of a federal university in Nigeria
b) Must maintain a minimum of 2.5/5.0 CGPA(2nd Class Lower Division)
c) Must be of good character
d) Must have graduated with a minimum of 3.5/5.0 CGPA (2nd Class
Upper Division) from a federal university in Nigeria*
*For Postgraduate students only
MODE OF APPLICATION
Duly qualified candidates are required to submit their application through the scholarship website
(abdulkabiraliufoundation.org.ng/new/) from March 27 to April 5, 2020. No other means of application is
acceptable.
Successful applicants may be required to write an aptitude test at a venue and time to be communicated.
