[3/28, 2:37 PM] Marx: ECONOMIC IMPLICATIONS OF COVID 19 ON NIGERIA POOR MASSES:

The scourge of COVID 19 is threatened to hit the viability of the world economy owing to closure of borders that aid both importing and exporting activities by various cointries. Nigeria may face a worse scenario as the recent closing of states borders has already yielded rise to various commodities require for daily living of its citizenry. Market survey and opinion recently carried out in the early hours of today depict hourly increase in price as marketers are taking advantage of the present rush stocking of customers to inflate prices on their wares.
Below is a statistic of Ogbeogbogonogo market in delta state
I.Garri(custard bucket)-from #600 to #1400.
II.Rice(custard)- #1700 to #2200.
III.Yam(medium)-#350 to #700.
IV.Beans(custard)-#750-#1200.
V.palm oil(small Eva)-#400 to #600.
VI.Corn flakes(medium)-#650-#1000.
VII.Milo-#900-#1300.
VIII.Sanitizer(small)-#500 to #1500.
IX.face mask(Piece)- #50 to #500.
X.Groundnut oil(Kings 4ltr)-#3000- #3800.
This are just few to show you the level of increase and from analysis all commodities both consumable and non consumable goods will continue to experience rise till the country scale through this phase it is currently undergoing.
The Economic team of the federal government need to provide a system that will cushion the negative effect of this hard time on the masses so as to avert the untold hardship the masses may likely face with the present trend.
SOLUTIONS:The Federal Government of Nigeria should with immediate effect direct all state Government to create a Price Control Unit that will go round to forestall a normalcy in this growing trend working with security agencies in various state.
The Federal Government should as a matter of fact through the Nigeria Broadcasting Commission force all private broadcasting companies DSTV,star time, gotv to give free airtime to all customer for the main time.
Mtn,glo, airtel should be advice by government to either reduce call rate or data rate this trying time.
There should be free flow of goods and commodities between states across the federation.
Security agencies at various checkpoints should be warned not to extort money or frustrate people transporting commodities on our roads as is their normal habits.

I don reach house, make I just upload everything cuz service was disturbing me on the road, I don come down from Asaba bus, make I find old road moto

You are wearing the mask wrong though. PLs next time let the colored part face outside and the white part inside. The white part absorbs moisture while the blue part is fluid repellant. White side facing outside would make germs and bacteria to stick to the mask and u can breath them in.
