Creating a seller account on Fiverr is 10x more complicated than opening a Payoneer account. If you could do Fiverr surely you can do Payoneer too.

You can still withdraw directly to your bank account even if you don't have card. However, payoneer card allows you to do many other things. For example, you can make online purchase, or walk to any ATM and withdraw instant funds without having to deal with exchangers or the delays that come from bank transfers (The price you will pay is low ATM exchange rate and $3 withdrawal fee). Also, with a payoneer card, you can always use transferwise, Azimo, Sendvalu, etc for withdrawals too.

Aside the above, I don't think that not owning one deprives you of any major thing.

Thanks so much for your detailed explanation. I have already opened it before seeing this now although they have approved it but I'm yet to attach it to Fiverr. I'm going to follow the steps you recommended in doing that.

However, I didn't put Swift code, what I saw was space for zip code which I filled. Already, I have received email notification that my payoneer account has been successfully opened, but I would like to know if not putting the Swift code would invalidate it?

Withdrawing straight to my local savings account is the best thing that would happen to me since joining Fiverr. Using exchangers can be stressful, risky and expensive.

Honestly, I never knew I had been a father Christmas all these while. The funny thing is the poor attitude of the exchangers, sometimes even behaving like they are doing me a favour when the reverse was the case.

N300 is even ok. just last week one guy wanted to buy mine for N280. with the current exchange rate, that is more than 30% of my money. He would have made more than N30k on my first withdrawal

I had similar issue with my first order until I later found out the buyer actually submitted his details. You will see it under the "requirement" tab in your order page.

Send your fund directly to your local account. Why would you want to exchange with Payoneer? If you have Zenith Bank, your account officer will call you before they convert the fund and both of you will decide the rate.
