The federal republic of Nigeria has started transfering money to citizens of the country because of the corona virus outbreak. This was announced by the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs, Diaster management and Social Development.

Good news right? No. There is still something you need to know about the money transfer which is: not every Nigerian will get the money.

The money is only meant for the poorest of the poorest in the country. So if you are poor you don't qualify; you have to be poorer than poor by their unrealistic standards. What are your thoughts on this?

This is how government start talking when they don't want to disburse money to the masses. They are suppose to rely on people's bank statements for the past 6 months not this their shady method of selection
