These people are tactless...Don't they know this Will eventually lead to overcrowding @ those places, when hundreds of persons are all coming to shop @ almost the same time.

If you want total lockdown, that's not how to go about it.

Every household must ensure they have the basic necessities of life @ their disposal government should as well provide them with food stuff and the likes for the meantime. Also social workers must not be far away from them. Should need for urgent or emergency arises.

This is counter productive. What they will end up doing is to bring crowd during that period. It is better to either close or leave it entirely open.

One of the reasons the US was hard hit is because of that direction that said they will be closing their border for 30 days. This brought thousands of Americans at the time trying to get into the US before the deadline. This was when the virus was shared uncontrollably. If the US had not closed the border suddenly, it wouldn't have led to that surge and the rate of infection would have been lower.

So this idea of opening between some time will only create surge as more people try to get food within the available window and the result will be uncontrollable infections. It will be better to leave the markets open as essential services

Lockdown won't work here and maybe it is what we need to make our leaders turn for the better. If we fail to contain it and got eradicated elsewhere, many nations won't open their borders to let our bad leaders through

Now if the market women now sell their market finish, how will they now go to oyingbo or mile 12 to buy, when there's no vehicle? I think they should just open all business activities within the time too.

I don't just understand this government at all you want to combat and control a virus that is ravaging the world you are treating it with kids gloves there need to be pro active for once.. share food and money to all Nigerians respectively exempting our rich politicians, military personnel both the serving and retired you will see that this lockdown will have a smooth sailing across the country not picking one sect of people or tribe tagging it the vulnerable.. please try and be proactive for once no amount spent on Nigerians is too much afterall it's our collective resources.. share it among us stop discrimination...

It is very easy to criticise.

Nigeria has to be the most complex country in the world.

Nigerians have got to be the most complicated and impatient people in the world.

It will take another 50 years at least, for this country to be fixed to a reasonable level.

And finally, the next 10 presidents of Nigeria will be equally and adequately insulted and criticised.

I know you're a govt sympathiser but it's not so complex.
We have online delivery platforms the govt could engage with the army providing a logistics base.

All you have to do is get an app which can be used to make purchases. The goods are then delivered by the online companies. Their stocks are supplied by the military bringing foodstuffs from the hinterland to areas on lockdown.

The problem is our govt doesn't think about local solutions. We only copy what others are doing.

About criticising govt, I don't see what's wrong with that except you want to accept criticising Jonathan's govt too was wrong.

What l understand wt this is that --no lock down anymore cos this hour is even d main hour many people go out. When government is confused, they are disorganized. It's a pity. Zoo country
