I disagree with the list 1000x
Below is the list that reflects Nigeria

Religion Moves The North

(If you want to incite the people talk about religion)

Tribalism Moves The West
,
(If you want to twinkle the people talk in dialect)

Ethnicity Moves The East

(If you want to spark the people talk about history)
Easterner spotted undecided the i am more educated vibe gave you up. Using reverse psychology to pin tribalism on the west grin and you're not even ashamed??
If you want spark the people tlk about history... you sure? Since when did the eastern region cared for history? Maybe the twisted version they keep feeding their youngs with because to the extent of my knowledge nd even here on nairaland easterners flee from naija history because there forefathers fvcked up big time nd they can't stand that because it abolishes the basics for their victimization wails.

As the writer pointed the East are not moved by religion or politics. When you want to understand it more you notice that the East move by themselves as a (people) which is why they say Igbo have no King.

Wait nothing is wrong with tribalism but how you use it.
Equally rights and justice to all not to some.

Restructure Nigeria now so that everyone will be on the same level and operate.

I don't mind going to my village to settle down provided I can get whatever I want within my zone without sleeping on the bus overnight just to buy an item ordinary should be much closer to me.

i didn’t comment to trade words with anyone I just passed an information it’s left for the smart ones to take it or leave it .ive been following nairaland since 2007 I enjoy reading people’s comments but I decided to open an account to comment on a post that got my attention last month...yes I am from enugu state I went to unsec enugu and yes igbos are the most tribalistic tribe I’ve ever seen I am not apologetic about it and the earlier we accept it the better and between we are not the only successful people, the problem is most people don’t even understand the true meaning of tribalism cos if they do there wouldn’t be any argument
If only the majority of the Igbos would take your advice, it would not only be good for the Igbo race but for the whole country. however as the saying goes truth is a bitter pill to swallow

That's where the problem is bro "core igbo" where they teach "core tribalisim" to new generations who end up living the kind of life the older generation lived instead to living thiers & creating a new trend .
u kinda late tho.am done wit this topic.#Peace
Truth is that you have been indoctrinated into believing that igbos are tribalistic based on the informations you're exposed to especially in your immediate society. For instance, this forum has over a time portrayed Igbo's as haters, tribal bigots etc. due to some political situations since 2015 till now which many of you gladly accepted to be the case. I'm talking as one who has experience on this subject because I was raised both ways and I can easily understand the situation. Truth is among the 3 major tribes in Nigeria Igbos are less tribalistic. You really need to understand your tribe very well not just listening to what others make you believe. Thanks for your time though.

So is the West, ethnicity moves the west almost as much as the old Eastern region, of course not to such a great extent as the east however, but if you read where he writer wrote about the omoluabi, you'd see the ethnic undertone in his points, he didn't see the undertone in his own writing.

Infact, ethnicity moves every region in Nigeria, I've lived in Abuja and I've noticed that smaller ethnic groups like igbira often try to blend into the hausa so that they will be more accepted. If ethnicity didn't move the North, then Muslim Yoruba would be greatly accepted, but that isn't exactly the case is it.?
The Egbira you site is a minority that always tries to blend into any majority group they live with. In southwestern states like Ondo and Ekiti, you will see Egbira that has been completely Yorubanized that you wouldn't be able to tell them apart from the indigenous Yoruba same for those in the north.

But the Yoruba are major ethnic groups that are not only Muslim but also Christians, athiest and tradition believers. They also have a divergent interest to the Hausa-Fulani (northern Muslim) politically, economically and socially. So, you whouldn't expect them to accepted into the northern political ideology which Islam is a tool used to propagate.
