One is 55, unfortunately he also had renal failure and diabetes plus he just returned from Netherland with the virus. He kept this hidden and when he started showing symptoms he went to LUTH knowing well that he has Corona virus and he should report to Yaba instead. Some medical hands suspected that he might be infected but when they asked about his travel history he denied it. They sent him to Yaba where he later died before treatment could be administered but by then he had put many innocent people at risk.

There was one nigerian guy died in america of corona some days ago.
He went to hospital to do test they refused him because he was twenty five years old, and not among "risk group". Many like that were refused to do test in america and most part of the world.

Larger percentage of people with corona do not need test.
They would recover. Even some big percentage will have corona without knowing they are sick because of no symptom.

OYO state is toying with the lives of its citizens by not locking down the state.

. Do you know how many people die in nigeria daily? Its unfortunate we don't keep data and we do not have a structure in place for this. Do you know what happened in my area last week in lagos ? NO is the answer. That you dont know the number of people dying daily in nigeria is enough proof people could have brought it into nigeria btw the period. Omole estate is a popular place in Lagos else, nobody would have known a returned traveller there died of Corona virus. There was another returning traveler who hid his status and died at LUTH while he was being attended by medics...those who got exposed to him might have also contracted it.

Remember it's mainly returning travelers that the virus is dealing with...just a few locals among them so, before the awareness got to us, it's likely those who visited those affected countries had brought it home and later died here within the period. While a few locals might have also died due to close contact with the index cases.
