I think his general point is right for men. Dont burden yourself till you're financially stable. The issue comes with passing legislation on the matter like he suggested. It also ignores factors like the wife(s) working. Other than that the family still has to plan finances accordingly.

Please stop shouting "wife working" on practically every other nairaland thread.

It's gross stupidity to ignore the fact more men are out of jobs than women, your jealousy won't change that. Majority of women are indeed working, stop focusing on the few who aren't.

Create employment opportunities instead of sitting on your asses envying others.

Lol I blame the woman 1st and their friends and family 2nd if they didnt warn her. If you see this guy has nothing to offer and not taking care of his business why did you marry him. Its not a crime to wait for better a option.

Facts, they only people who see this guy as hypocrite on this issue either dont know his argument or dont know what hypocrisy means. I think most people even Kano agreed with him. Daily trust video shows this opinion wasn't too controversial. It's his legal proposal solution that was controversial years back.

Sanusi can afford to marry 20 wives but an average northerner can't because they are trying to survive the harsh economy.

Where did u get information about him having 24 kids? I haven't been able to find that. You're free to disagree with his life choices but does it make him a hypocrite? You didn't show how Sanusi is breaking his personal code. Did Sanusi not spend enough time with kids? If Sanusi is the model it would be preferable to having beggar kids and wives you cant cater for.
