This is preposterous considering Niger state’s closeness to the FCT. Even the Nasarawa State government has ordered the complete lockdown of the entire Karu local government bordering FCT. It’s obvious some of these leaders don’t understand the seriousness of this virus.

Thank God as at today we are still balling with loads of foods at home and he is begging us now. Humble yourselves my brothers and sisters

Governor Okowa of Delta state kindly take a cue from your Niger state counterpart.

Relax the shutdown for deltans and non deltans to breath some fresh air.

Sorry to quote you for the second time...but things are getting tough.

Last week, a man was seen shouting at policemen to allow him earn his daily bread...and no, it did not happen in Nigeria, it happened in Italy.

After some time, there has to be some relaxation. Maybe, controversially, people should be allowed to go to work.

But the problem is, we don't know how this virus would play out. Relax things, and we could end with Italian and Spanish levels of crisis. Only things would be worse.

Tighten things, and the suffering of the poor will worsen.
