Assuming we are practicing true federalism most of this state placing total lockdown won't be doing that. They will think of better ways to manage the pandemic. But because everybody knows that money will come from Abuja they can just lockdown the state without adequate planning.. ThankGod crude oil pricing is on the fall... This will give us sense as a nation to diversify the economy!!
By next month when federal and state government can't pay salaries every state governor will put on their thinking cap

This is preposterous considering Niger state’s closeness to the FCT. Even the Nasarawa State government has ordered the complete lockdown of the entire Karu local government bordering FCT. It’s obvious some of these leaders don’t understand the seriousness of this virus.

Governor Okowa of Delta state kindly take a cue from your Niger state counterpart.

Relax the shutdown for deltans and non deltans to breath some fresh air.
And breathe in a few virus.

Stay there and be waiting for positive. People offended God by burning little children and God cursed the land and your expecting positive prophecy!

Kudos to our gallant officer of the Nigerian Police. They're really doing well!
Please who else heard this news?

If your afraid of paying your people while at home,

please tell us we will understand.

Don't start what you can't finish.

That your state haven't record any case yet, does not mean you should release.

Put more effort on prevention.

Niger State contribute nothing to Nigeria economy.
They're of no use.
You dey craze. What's d point of the lockdown when we can't even test who has it and who doesn't? Is the lockdown not to help have an idea of who has it, isolate them from the rest of the population, thereby curbing the spread of the virus? It's obvious we're just joking around with the thing and just doing things others are doing not because we necessarily have the wherewithal to follow it through. It's better you let people go on with their lives while restricting inter-town and cities movement. There's a good chance the virus is not in Niger anyway. It's importation we need to be wary of.

Niger have been in complete lockdown for almost two weeks now so Okowa should take a cue from there. Stay at home for that period first then he can back off later

Enjoy your sit at home & stay safe
