Assuming we are practicing true federalism most of this state placing total lockdown won't be doing that. They will think of better ways to manage the pandemic. But because everybody knows that money will come from Abuja they can just lockdown the state without adequate planning.. ThankGod crude oil pricing is on the fall... Is the lockdown not to help have an idea of who has it, isolate them from the rest of the population, thereby curbing the spread of the virus? It's better you let people go on with their lives while restricting inter-town and cities movement. There's a good chance the virus is not in Niger anyway. It's importation we need to be wary of.

Niger have been in complete lockdown for almost two weeks now so Okowa should take a cue from there. Stay at home for that period first then he can back off later
