Following the decision taken by the Katsina State Government for all workers of the State and Local Government Councils to sit at home with a view to curtailing the spread of Covid-19 pandemic pending the review of the situation by experts, His Excellency the State Governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, CFR has directed that all workers in the mainstream of Katsina State Service to resume work effective from Monday 6th April, 2020 and be providing skeletal services from 10:00am to 2:00pm daily.

According to IgbereTV reports, this will be maintained for a period of one week.

However, all public/private Tertiary Institutions, Secondary Schools and Primary Schools are to remain closed till further notice.

Workers were urged to, on resumption, continue to observe the social distancing policy, consistent washing of hands and application of sanitizers to prevent the spread of Covid-19 in the state.

Assuming majority of nigerians are working and getting paid on hourly basis ,majority wont even deer to go home in nigeria. But laziness has eaten deep into us Since we running a monthly salary wages in nigeria .

And who says countries running hourly based pay system aren't obeying the lock down order? This has absolutely nothing to do with laziness. Is it better to compromise your safety and put everyone else in danger?
