Compare the number of cases in Lagos (which is the epicentre of the outbreak) to other states, maybe then you will 'see' reason. If it goes out of control in Lagos, nowhere else in Nigeria would be spared.

NIGERIA has a GDP of $380 billion

Now Rivers state does not produce most of Nigeria's oil and oil is very far from $100

Oil price was $9 when Obasanjo increased mininum wage massively in 1999. Oil price during Abacha's era was just around $8 yet as bad as Abacha was coupled with sanctions Nigeria never entered recession.

Now shut down Lagos ports and see Nigeria collapse within weeks, Buhari was not a fool when he categorically exempted Lagos ports from being closed down.
