I am a silent reader on this platform for quite a while
My EDD ought to be 5th or 7th March. I was scheduled for antenatal clinic 15th February (37weeks
I left home around past 10am for the clinic with wallet, on getting to the hospital, In the course of checking my BP, the nurse discovered something unusual. (My BP which is usually within 98_110 has risen to 170). The nurse was scared, took me straight to the doctor's office. The doctor quickly look for the manual BP reader and checked again, this Time, it was 180. He started asking me series of questions, unfortunately I didn't have any feeling, not even headache which could have been the sudden rise in BP. After consultation with other doctors. I was left with option of emergency CS or to take drugs which may still put myself and Baby at risk.

To the Glory of God, we opted for the emergency CS. Within 10 mins in the theater and BP rose to 200, my Baby boy was brought out screaming on top of his voice. On sighting him, I was overwhelmed with joy as a first time mum.
I wish all our preggy Mama's safe delivery ,congrats to all those who have birthed their LO.
May the Lord bless all the TTC Mama's.

How is the lockdown in our area? For me this lockdown has increased my laziness oo My routine is eat, sleep, press phone, eat, sleep. Even body don heavy . It is well

How body and LO? Please don’t allow coro to scare you from your antenatal o, just practice safe distance and always sanitise your hands well. Avoid opening public doors with your hand instead use your leg, elbow or arm.

Last week i landed in my hospital armed with my nose mask, hand gloves and sanitizer. I already plan to go late so they would have done all the singing, dancing and lectures (didn’t expect them to do that again sef considering the situation of things)
On getting there, I was told i dont need to wear gloves as it will pose more danger sef. How When you wear glove, it easily pick up different microbes then you still touch your phone (assuming you need to pick a call) hence transferring microbes to your phone. Or you want to write using a pen, some of the microbe are also transferred to the pen. If you finally throw away the gloves when you are through, you still have the microbes on your phone and pen which will still come back to you. Only doctors can use gloves as such because they discard after each use not wearing one gloves all day long. I just reason the matter and threw the gloves away come face my hand sanitizer.

Shopping nko? I hope we are through with shopping oo, especially with this lockdown. We should start packing our bags in bits now especially those early May mamas. Biko, i no wan hear stories.

We should be in our 35th, 34th, 33rd, 32nd, and 31st weeks now. We're getting there we will finish well with Mum alive, baby alive and Daddy rejoicing with plenty money. Amen.

House Abeg help o. I went for antenatal yesterday but we weren't all attended to. If you don't have any issue /complaints they'll ask you to go back home after writing some drugs for you if need be. My major concern now is that the doctor wrote fansidar for me. And I've already taken two times. In my previous pregnancies, I only took antimalaria drugs once. Pls how many dosage is one supposed to take for the whole period of pregnancy. Abeg make una chuk mouth o.

Similar question was asked sometimes back here..... Here is the response i gave her then.

I think body differs. Someone said on this thread that with her first pregnancy she took it and it didn't affect her while she lost her second pregnancy because of it.

For me, I took a lot of peppersoup during my first trimester and nothing happened (didn't know pregnant woman wasn't supposed to take it until my second trimester when I joined this thread). I took it recently too and am doing fine (prepared by myself not bought from outside).

I think it's better to be on the safe side, you almost at the finish line.

B.A alert. I gave birth to my charming prince this morning at exactly 5:05am weighing 3.1kg via vaginal delivery. Water broke 1am, got to the hospital 2am and delivered 5:05 am. We are already discharged and at home and are all doing fine. It is also true that women who deliver at government hospitals this time are not paying anything except money for drugs though. E just dey pain me say I don almost pay all my money finish. The balance however was not requested from us. I wish all the remaining team April mamas and other mamas too supernatural delivery. Baby dust to all TTC women. @cappo Patking, Bs coming in later.

Hello my August mamas.... I have not been receiving notification for this thread lately and I checked, unfortunately I mistakenly unfollowed the thread, how is everyone.... And a big congratulations to all mamas that have given birth. I went to do a private scan yesterday and baby's doing well, I told the sonographer that he shouldn't tell us the sex.
