Method 1
 
First turn off your infinix smartphone and then turn on, Press and hold the home button while the phone is starting up.
 Then in the button left hand corner of the screen, find the Safe Mode option.
That’s it, and your smartphone would successfully start in Safe Mode.

Method 2
 
First turn off your Infinix smartphone.
 After that, press and hold the Power and Lock button then wait till your device boots to Infinix logo
 Immediately it boots to your device logo, then press the Volume Down button, while slipping of the Power button, then make sure the Volume Down button is still held till your device restarts
 
After that, Safe Mode would be visible on the left bottom of the screen, and then remove your hand from Volume Down button
 Now exit the Safe Mode by pressing the Power &Lock button and then tap Restart

I be tried putting on my infinix joypad by pressing the power and down vol button. Instead it takes me to an interphase for several test options. No safe mode appears on the screen. Note this phone has only three buttons power button, up and down vol button.

Safe mode is done to find out if a problem affecting your phone is from am app in the sd card or internal storage is the cause.
If after booting into safe mode and u still encounter problem, then the fault is from an app in ur internal storage.
The best thing to do is to format the fone

Safe mode is done to find out if a problem affecting your phone is from am app in the sd card or internal storage is the cause.
If after booting into safe mode and u still encounter problem, then the fault is from an app in ur internal storage.

Same with mine. I was hoping you found a solution. Pls how did you resolve it. I'm equally try the hard reset but it stops at "factory mode" on the screen
