Where do U want to start?? huh huh huh huh
A budget doesn't translate to provision or execution.

You work on what accrued and what was released.

My friend I am struggling to understand what you wrote as it relates to my post,
A budget is a proposed targeted sum to be spent within the defined period
So upgrading the wardrobe and buying more cars for members of the house do not fall within the positive narrative this so-called Nigeria needs around now right??

They expect the government should have seen the future.

Funny enough, most of them wailing could not save money, food or supplies for the lockdown even as many they saw warnings everyday.

Hypocrites they are.

Well, in 2015, there was a lot of talk about how APC would diversify the economy

Five years later, nothing. Our economy is still very very dependent on oil. And now, because oil has crashed, the budget needs to be slashed.

The problem with Nigeria is that we have an economy devoted to sharing the revenue we earn from selling raw materials. In the 1960's it was agriculture, now it is oil. Meanwhile, we could be like Japan, China and Korea...and develop an economy based on producing industrial goods and selling them.

APC isn't doing that. And the sad thing? PDP too has no idea on how to do that.
Please stop responding to cows!

Govt slash budget, people complain, govt refuse to slash budget people still complain... Let's be progressive in our thinking at times, finding fault in everything our govt does will not help us as a country

It seems people don’t care for this news. Back in the day users always typed epistles whenever it came to news about the national budget. Are the trolls sleeping or Coro don wipe them off?

Who is benefiting from the budget? If they like they should reduce it to zero it changes nothing... Nigerians are hungry with no jobs, lockdown with no pay....
