Today, I joined the Governor of Lagos @jidesanwoolu, the Comissioner for information @gbenga_omo, CEO of gtbank, Segun Agbaje and other dignitaries to Comission the 110 bed spaces for COVID19 Lagos Isolation centre at Moboliji Johnson stadium, Onikan.

The isolation centre donated by @gtbank and @africa_finance begins operations today, 8 March, 2020 with 7 patients on admission.
No fewer than 60 medical personnel and support staff of @followlasg with expertise have been deployed to the facility.

8 March? So I has been commissioned a month ago and they were still constructing it last week? Or is this a typo?

What kind of people do we have in this country?

This is over 3weeks since we had our first Corona case. Why hasn't the virus spread rapidly across the nation as it is in other climes? Even if it is obvious we don't test/screen as we ought to, that doesn't stop the virus from ravaging the populace. Over 3 weeks; No sporadic deaths, No over flooding of the hospitals by victims of the virus to the extent, Corona had the patience to wait on GTB to finish their project at the stadium. I'm not wishing the country ill, but you set, reason am!
