This thread is to share our current data plans and to know which is the best and most cost efficient.

I use an Airtel 4G MIFI. I think the best Airtel subscription now is their 6gb for #1500 valid for 7days.

I have also heard about MTN 20gb for #3500. I guess that is better although I cannot use it because my MIFI accepts only Airtel sim.

Please share the current data plan you are using this period.

Unlimited Gold Spectranet - For Netflix on TV and working on PC
4.5 GB on Glo- for when Spectranet messes up and I need to watch Netflix on my mobile device
2 GB 9 mobile - for when Spectranet messes up and I need to use WhatsApp on my alternate mobile device

I spend over 20k a month on internet to keep me entertained

Airtel are scam. I stopped using them weeks ago.

I now use Glo, 1,500naira sub gives me as much as 8-9gb. + did I mention the huge call bonus I was given too? Glo just needs to work more on their Internet. They offer the best data plan in Nigeria.

Though I don't use EmtiHen, but when you have data on your phone and been browsing with same settings before but later stopped working, you should consider taking these steps before escalating:

1. Put off your data and restart your phone after few minutes, switch it on and try connecting again.

2. Your internet might stop working after switching on your phone if you've been browsing on 4G. Go to settings and downgrade it to either 3G or 2G I'm sure it will work.

3. If you've tried these above and you're still not browsing, throw away that sim and get an Airtel SIM.

Thanks. I've actually tried options 1&2 previously but to no avail. Unfortunately, I can't throw away the line as it is a business line. My Airtel works just fine but it appears MTN offers cheaper data packages
