It wasn't an undisclosed sickness. He eventually gave an interview to the Press about his illness...which turned out to be cancer.

Said cancer was caught on time, so he was treated successfully.

Happy birthday to this great guy. The best governor my dear motherland 042 has ever had. During his regime, things were normal, nightlife was lite, our dear ROADBLOCK was a hit back to back, streets were clean and street lights were functional.

Salaries were paid and everything was normal. Herdsmen clashes and brutality were alien to my people and life was at its youth.

Not until my fellow Nsukka man Ugwuanyi entered the office and destroyed everything. (Mind you, I am from Nsukka, Enugu Ezike to be precise). This bunkum of a governor Ugwuanyi entered and scattered everything. All the developments Chime did were reverted and now, Enugu is in a mess. Ugwuanyi only tried to cover up his incompetence by building roads ONLY.
