The government of Nigeria should do the needful to identify measures that would lead to safe ease of the lock down. even as the government has declared lock down, still some people have not locked down. Use of face mask, hand gloves, hand sanitizers and social distancing should be comprehensively enforced nationwide. Now the government of Nigeria should look into the affordability of the above stated safety tools and see how it can be made as cheap as possible for the citizenry to afford it. WHO should be referring to countries that have good governance for their citizens in d sense that there is provison of cash and relief materials for all citizens and not countries like Nigerians and some Africa countries that are greedy. The mistake some organisations are making is that they are only looking at ways to end this pandemic and not looking at the disadvantages of trying to curb d pandemic. There is always disdantages in every cases be it good or bad. The disadvantages of what WHO is insinuating is HUNGER for countries like Nigeria. Our leaders are not helping matters in anyway. I agree with the view that World health organization is referring to the established economy or countries to sustain the lockdown.

But Nigerians especially some nairaland members were supporting the WHO recommendations which they misread upside down forgetting their peculiar situation.

They forgot that Nigeria lack a responsible and transparent government.

Oga lockdown have not reduced infection in Italy , America and Spain. That is why Sweden and Belarus refused to lockdown. They want antibodies to naturally build up against the disease.

That virus is airborne, that is what WHO didn't tell us right from the start, the virus can float for prolong hours in the air. Staying at home only slow the virus because u can still stay at home and transmit the virus to family members but face mask prevent the virus from transmission from one to another.
