The west with their usual propaganda.

I have read comments ahead of me here saying " china were not truthful with the corovirus" and WHO will die if Trump stops funding etc.

For how long shall be continue to swallow whatever the satanic western media wants us to swallow.

Similar to ways NY Times and it's ilk will push IMF and IBRD agenda down our throat.

Mr Trump should admit failure at least for once.

From "china-virus" to "china-centric WHO", WHAT NEXT MR Trump?

The disease is airborne even me as an accountant knows. But WHO has been saying otherwise. Trump abeg deal with them wella

WHO can only give information that is fed to them.
China held out on a lot of information. Everyone is only just learning about this particular corona virus. It's a new virus
It was initially thought to be strictly a zoonotic disease/animal - to- man transmission when it first
started in Wuhan animal market. Seen in people from the market , but later noticed to spread even amongst those who've never been to the market.
Their Drs told their Chinese govt, but they ignored the warnings and even tried to silence the Drs.
Much information wasn't coming out of China, until one of their Drs decided to make it public on social media or so, about the extent of the disease and what they're battling with. The young Dr is dead now from Covid (or who knows what their govt did to him) and another whistle blower Dr has been missing for sometime now. Nobody knows where she is, whether in a concentration camp o, or she's been killed by their govt, or she ran away for her life, nobody knows.
Till date, the exact number of deaths in China is speculative because you can't even trust their figures but we still take the numbers they give us like that.
If Sierra Leone (or is it Liberia) had tried to cover up the last major Ebola crises and not quickly asked for help, it would have also become a pandemic, or spread much more around the world. That's even for Ebola, an old disease that has been in existence since the 70s.
We are all still learning about this virus, so we can only continue to observe for sometime.
Like I said, it was initially thought to be only from animals, then later droplets, again later discovered to be airborne, and even now thought to be spread by contact.
We don't even know if those who've recovered from it will have long term complications or not.

The $500m a year funding from the US means so much to WHO in running its activities, abi you wan give them the money?
China is the emerging world power.
$500 million, can't china give it to them
Trump is a child, he acted too late because of his lack of knowledge of the capacity and resilience of the virus.
Your neighbours house is on fire, you should join and quench the fire there...he was the first to send a plane to carry his people, let the fire consume China, like say him get one medicine when him go give him people or arrival, them go well. Now him dey run around with untested hydroxychloroqine even against the advise of scientist ...but China on the whole had less than 4000 deaths, how many deaths are in New York alone, a state of the USA.
Him plan backfire, God pass them!!!

See your teeth like help. The leadership of WHO really messed up big time.

A pandemic killed thousands before WHO could classify it as a pandemic. A friend said WHO has a protocol for classifying a disease as a pandemic, true, but, there have been cases where a disease had a worldwide spread (which classify as a pandemic), but they didn't call the disease a pandemic, because it killed very little or nobody.

You have a virus that was already killing thousands in China, and from studies, it could easily be spread by respiratory droplets, but WHO declined to call the disease a pandemic and warn other govts all over the world on time.

Now disease has killed thousands, and Can't be controlled.

WHO's leadership should step down

Lmao. Don't watch fox news buddy. However I was in China during the outbreakand have followed way closer than you probably have, so I'm aware of the WHO'S shortcomings.

Also the fact that you resulted to name-calling, shows you're not worth the effort of talking to.

I don't know if Nigeria citizens are educated or not, they hardly do research on there own but will be the 1st to comment when they see fake news on social medias, knowing fully well that CNN and BBC and other cable network are paid by the government cabals known as NWO to tell lies, how many people have died of this covid-19 virus in Nigeria, if truly this virus is real and killing people like we see on media what happened to the Italian man that 1st contacted the covid-19 virus, how was he curled, why can't they cure the infected ones in Nigeria the same way the Italian man was curled, they are just doing fake test on people, may be some of them may have malaria of typhoid fiver, they will say is covid-19 virus, some will die of other illness they we say is covid-19 that kill them, you guys should go to YouTube and search think about it, you will know or see the whole truth about this fake covid-19 virus that the medias are using to lie and scare people to death, how can a group of small government put fear on billions of citizens around the world just for there own selfish interest, is a shame as we Nigeria don't ask questions but jump to conclusions, they all want us to take vaccine before any activities could come to normal around the world, who is behind this vaccines, bill gate, the same man who tries to reduced the world human population to 15% is the same man who is trying to save the world with his deadly vaccine, Nigerians, some of us need to go back to school.

Trump will not fool anyone with this one, from blaming the Democrats, to China and now WHO. As the US recorded 2000 deaths on a single day he knew that the blame lands on his feet because he never took this seriously from the beginning and was listening to Fox News opinion hosts.

He refused to help some states governors because they are not appreciative, lied about the availability of test kits etc.

If he decided to defund WHO he opens door for China or Russian to fund that organisation and take influential position.

You are right about that.
Trump unfortunately doesn't want to accept responsibility for his failures in handling this crises.
He truly believed it would go away like magic, but corona isn't having that.
He never seems to take the advice given by his experts and just does his own thing. Dr Fauci has had to go round all media to clean up the misinformation Trump has been giving to the American people about this disease. He should let them talk and brief people instead of him doing the talking.
He has blamed everyone but himself in this crises, he has blamed the governors majorly affected, he has blamed the Democrats, he has blamed WHO.

China is really keen on taking over the position as world power in everything, including technology.
Interesting but sad times we're in now. So sad that many lives are lost and even more to come, and many economies are going down in shambles.

WHO's leadership should step down
So you say because they couldn't detect human-human transmission as a result of the virus' mutation. They should step down. In plain decision, yes. But the UN knows that problem could have been averted but for the virus' mutation hence, no news of any sacks or layoffs. Although, on my part, they should have spent more time researching without jumping to conclusion.

WHO that said people should not wear nose mask until someone is sick and showing symptoms of corona virus, sincerely speaking WHO really messed up misinforming people around the world instead of enforcing nose mask worldwide to minimise spread and contain the virus.

U are talking nonsense out of ur hate for Trump....y blame Trump like as Americans are the only ones being killed by this disease... No country took this seriously due to the recommendation from WHO , until Italians started dying like fowls... Trump is even doing his best managing the number of deaths... America is a population of about 330 million... What would u say about Spain and UK that recorded about a thousand deaths a day?? The Chinese lied to the world about the true nature of this disease.... I'm also sure they lied about the number of casualties as a communist Nation that they are

I will patiently wait for next week.

Trump will soft pedal.

If USA backs down, it means selling 3rd world countries to China.

But there will be serious repercussions for WHO officials after this saga ends.

If only China knows what harm it has caused himself because they were not transparent in handling this covid 19.

It will not be spontaneous but most countries would start developing capacities in production so as not to rely on China massively.

Some other Asian countries might likely be the new brides like who would known Vietnam can chun out 55,000 ventilators monthly inside this crisis.

Imagine what they can do it its over.

No matter the stock China buys now, in the end, they will lose.

Its China VS the world.

Even USA won't win such a war.

The United States is really trying for our world by constantly funding these organizations

If you see the charts of how much China contributes to these organizations, you will shake your head. What's China doing with all the money it makes?

In 2016, the UN's total expenditures were nearly $50 billion, with the US financing about $10 billion.

Even US' Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation gives more funds to these organizations than 10 countries put together

China wasn't transparent, but WHO was, is still, largely clueless!!!
