DriggityDre:Which one is they couldn't detect human to human transmission. They knew early enough that the deaths recorded were due to human to human transmission. What they didn't know was the origin of the virus. Whether it was from bat or whatever. Go check the number of people that died before they declared it a pandemic. Not declaring it as a pandemic early enough, made so many govts to relax. By the time it got to Europe (Italy), it was already too late |

yeyeosoronga:Do u even watch the news?? Besides , will u compare the airport activities in America or UK to Sweden?? JFK is one of the busiest airports in the world ... hundreds of thousands come and leave America daily ... do u think any president would just wanna shut down their borders just like that?? Do u know the negative economic impact?? They would wanna b very detailed b4 they mk that decision... Even when he shut the borders , Democrats started attacking him... That he should handle it without shutting the borders ...how possible could that be... Now , if he shut the borders in December and the disease turned out not to b as serious as WHO initially predicted and it hits their economy... people like u and those vindictive Democrats will b the ones attacking him that he disregarded WHO's recommendation and that's why millions are jobless |

GamalNasser:-2,000 People died in the US yesterday -The US have now overtaken Spain and are on course to overtake Italy for number of deaths but your supreme orange oaf was concerned about his TV ratings yesterday -Over 13M unemployment filed -The same Trump claimed there was no such virus, only a FLU that will go away by itself, now he is looking for who to blame for his stupidity and lack of sense - Over 30K people will die but your clown is busy fighting WHO, Blaming Obama, fighting Governors and blaming the Media I dunno who is dumber, you or the Clown in the white house. The two of you put so much effort into being incredibly moronic, Gotta appreciate your efforts |

I know when WHO insisted that covid 19 isn't airborne. That false announcement has lead to thousands of deaths. How will you say that something that is spread through talking is not airborne. Trump withdraw the fundings asap! |

Even if you want to fight WHO wait for the pandemic to be over. Imagine blaming WHO for not taking advice from Taiwan and taking action when you did not take advice from CDC and people warning you in your own country talkless of taking action. Trump cannot even take responsibility for anything. What a leader. You cannot support Trump and despise Buhari. |

maasoap:You know he never refered to it as a hoax , he only said the democrats where spreading alarmist hoax in order to hurt his govt and he is very right .. Just look at the mess Newyork is in now because the stupid useless burn in hell governor Cuomo thought it was a time to play deadly politics The Newyork governor refused to lock down his city because he though it will hurt Trump . He gave a DNR ( Do not Resuscitate order ) just to keep mortality rates high He went to dig a hoax mass grave he didnt need and publicised it He and his fellow useless democrat governors banned the use of Chloroquine in their states even though the new it was the most efficient way to keep fatality low but the idiot secretly adminstered it to his equally useless fake Journalist brother . |

sapientia:USA caused more harm than that with over 50 million deaths from the Spanish flu that originated in USA It will not be spontaneous but most countries would start developing capacities in production so as not to rely on China massively. Is this a joke or what? The world including USA is accepting all help from China as we're talking. They are even fighting among and accusing themselves over materials from the China |

GamalNasser:Just look at how you spin this unfortunate development in USA against the governor. Nigerians here are blaming Buhari for not shutting down our borders and airspace on time, they didn't blame Sanwo Olu because they knew Sanwo wasn't at fault. But here you're, defending president Trump despite claiming that covid-19 was hoax and even busy ranting on twitter calling it Chinese virus. What exactly did you expect the governor to have done? What did his peers in other states do? Their president got it wrong from the beginning. Simple. Now, he wants to make WHO a scapegoat. |
| Re: US To Review Funding To WHO Next Week by yeyeosoronga: 11:45am On Apr 11, 2020 |
cr7lomo:I repeat, I'm not talking about shutting the borders. That's why I gave examples of South Korea and Sweden who are not doing lockdown in their cities. 1.Trump gave a lot of false reassurances and misleading information about this virus. From calling it a democratic hoax, to saying its like the flu which would go away like a miracle. (You should watch some of those his videos /press briefings where he appears like a Nigerian pastor and not the POTUS) 2.Trump dismantled the pandemic response team in the USA, which was set up by the Obama administration ( during the Ebola crises in West Africa) to guide the country through any possible pandemic. That was a bloody proactive move by Obama, and the US would have taken all the accolades that they were prepared for a pandemic even though the world saw non coming. Infact, it would have made them appear like seers in this present times. 3. He chose not to act when he got the information in Dec about this virus, thinking only of the economic impact. But he could have still taken some action without needing to shut the border and impacting their economy so badly. South Korea is doing so at the moment. 19000 people are dead in the US now, Over 2000 died in the last 24 hours. We're still counting. NOTHING was done because he didnt even believe in the virus, and called it a hoax despite all the information available to the most powerful man in the world, surrounded majorly by the best brains. 4. No country in the world was prepared for this, and many countries are facing a backlash from their citizens. So I cannot single out US and say they've done so woefully. My major problem with him is blaming everybody else. Nobody is perfect, there is obviously some lapses in judgement by the leaders of many nations, including Nigeria (we seem to have followed the path of the US) but nobody is blaming others here except the US. (Of course everybody blames China for not being forthcoming about the disease in their country) You and Trump have blamed the democrats, you're now picking on the WHO too. Yet refusing to accept the parts you have played in it's spread in the US. People felt safe because POTUS said so not knowing we were allowing it to spread, we all started using Chloroquine all over the world because POTUS said so. There's a lot of power AND responsibilities attached to the office of the POTUS. We celebrate its successes and we also decry its failures. I really have no bad feelings for Trump, but many lives have been lost at this point. |
| Re: US To Review Funding To WHO Next Week by GamalNasser: 11:50am On Apr 11, 2020 |
maasoap:It is a Chinese Virus!!! Both China and WHO are both culpable for it's spread and they seemed to work together in cahoots to achieve this and we now need to know why .

yeyeosoronga:Y wudnt he blame WHO and China?? We keep on letting stuffs slide away and that's y nonsense keeps on happening... Trump will mk alot of manipulators become careful knowing that he knows what they know and will act .... Someone must take the fall for this crisis the world faces |

They will belive anything he says, even if it contradicts what he said minutes ago Look how he has reduced the US to a third world country. |
| Re: US To Review Funding To WHO Next Week by ogaontop(m): 12:02pm On Apr 11, 2020 |
DriggityDre:China actually misled the world and WHO on the extent of damages done by this virus, China knew very well that the virus is human to human transmission and they said otherwise to the WHO which was announced to the world, they were not even being true to the figure of casualties and drugs they used in remedying the situation...... it's either WHO takes action against China for misinformation or has itself to blame for not carrying out an independent research before advising the world ( which is their primary responsibility) |

DriggityDre:You are actually spot-on on the progression of the disease in your first paragraph. This whole so called sickness was created in the US biological warfare laboratory last year. THIS IS NO CONSPIRACY THEORY but something you can verify for yourself if you do your research. On August 6, 2019, the US's main biological warfare lab at Fort Detrick was issued a "cease and desist" order by US authorities because of violation of safety standards and protocol, and leaks. The lab was shut down because some US marines were infected by mistake. Few days later, the infected marines attended a military competition in Wuhan China where Chinese people were infected by touch. By that time it hasn't mutated to be airborne. This was reported by a credible UK media. Read details at https://www.independent.co.uk/news/world/americas/virus-biological-us-army-weapons-fort-detrick-leak-ebola-anthrax-smallpox-ricin-a9042641.html?fbclid=IwAR2xI1vGalxbuAk8ovKophf-8eyz3pntO61cR_OdLSLHcm5nPiJ7sqQRNbw The real threat now is not COVID-19 but the possibility of a mutation into a far more deadly virus. There's a real possibility that a deadlier virus is coming. |

cr7lomo:1. China has a lot of blame no doubt, but WHO only takes action on information given to them by a country. 2.Covid was also not a democratic hoax. 3.Trump also should be blamed for shutting down the pandemic response team as this was an invaluable resource in the US, that would have kept a close eye on this covid with information available to them. The responsibility to take action wouldn't have just been on Trump but on them. They would have offices in NYC and all states collating information and working together. That was the whole purpose of that agency. Eyes would have been on the covid long before it became widespread in the US. They would have started preparing for eventualities and would have long ordered PPEs, masks, ventilators before there was a scarcity. A better plan would have been in place to curtail the spread. When a leader does something right, I am all for applauding them. When they make mistakes, they need to be scolded and also accept responsibility. I really hope this pandemic stop, and there is a solution in sight. But hoping won't do the job of stopping it though, so we continue to do our best. |

ogaontop:There's little the WHO can do to China tbh. I don't think they even give aid or assistance to China. I doubt they have such powers Independent research takes time and observations which the virus isn't giving anybody. The only country they initially had was China, which withheld the information. WHO offices there too is probably filled with only Chinese people anyway. Its until it started affecting other nations that the virus and its spread is being studied in depth. Perhaps other nations can sanction them, but China seems to have most nations by their balls. |
