The question you niggers need to ask yourselves is why with all these talents abroad is that country still a shithole.
Those talented people are very reluctant to come back and make any suggestion. In fact when they come and try they are frustrated.

The Nigerians abroad try to make suggestions, but their voices aren't heard. It's difficult to make. When Dr. Ngozi was finance minister didn't she try to remove fuel subsidy, if she had successfully removed the subsidy we wouldn't be having this silly back and forth with Buhari and his merry band of clowns over the subsidy removal.

This is not Nigeria where quota system generals like buhari are made
In the international community especially as white dominated like the IMF, your brain as a black man or woman must be working at boiling point to have any relevance.
Nigeria is indeed lucky that we had her instead of the incompetent finance minister earlier in our history.
Our national standard of living across board would have been like the north .

Rubbish, when you can’t even present one positive thing she did in her years as the so called coordinating Minister and finance minister.
OBJ recognized her as fake very early when he appointed her the finance minister, he quickly moved her to where she would be harmless to the country and government.

Rather, the Excess Crudeoil Account was ran down from $20b to $2b, and foreign reserve ran down from $47b to $29b. Also ensuring to borrow more money at a time we should have been saving more than what OBJ and Yar'Adua were able to save during less buoyant economic period.

And just 9months after the Crude Oil price began dipping from $100/barrel towards $50/barrel, she shamelessly admitted that the Jonathan led Federal Government had already borrowed N470b ($2.5b as at that time) to pay salaries of federal civil servants for February, March, and April 2015.

All she had to her credit was warning that a recession was coming, forgetting she was in the driving seat to make a change as the Finance Minister and coordinating Minister of the economic team that failed the nation.

What a shame!
you don't have shame! when the woman was there how much was our foreign reserve? the Paris club fund you are enjoying who help you out? do you know how much the foreign debts were slashed to even canceled ? you are an ingrate, typical reprogrammed zombie.

festacman:
Congratulations ma, but I would have been happier if in your times as Finance minister, you initiated diversification of Nigerian economy.

Having studied the terrain in your first stint under Pres. Obasanjo, one had expected concrete action on diversification in your second stint as coordinating minister of cabinet/Finance Minister of Finance under Pres. Jonathan. Things could have been a lot better if you did that but all is now history. You are certainly world famous but you have few legacies at home.

Wishing you all the best, still.

Amechi and others were also responsible when she illegally stole $2.3 billion and handed it to Dasuki to share with her and GEJ's cronies like FFK, Fayose and Metuh?

You mean she did not diversify the economy because of Ameachi and others?

Were they also responsible when she looked the other way as tens of thousands of ghost workers collected salaries from her every month?

Were they also responsible when all the revenue-generating agencies refused to remit money into the federation account while okonjo looked the other way?

Were they also responsible when okonjo declared austerity measures even when oil was selling for almost $80/barrel?

Were they also responsible when she was borrowing hundreds of billions to pay workers salary till the very last week she left office?

The woman was not only incompetent because she left a battered and totally dysfunctional economy that she as borrowing money to pay salaries, but she was also a looting and stealing instrument, she supervised and participated in wholesale looting and stealing.

I remember when she illegally diverted the $2.3 billion, she wrote a letter to GEJ that she's not responsible for accountability or how they loot and share the money. Just imagine the woman we put in charge of our money not only handed our money to thieves, she willfully and openly said she's not responsible for our $2.3 billiion she gave to other people to loot. This is what crooks and incompetent people do in 3 world countries like Nigeria because they know they can get away with it, but I bet you, she won't illegally divert IMF or any western country's money and say she's not responsible. This is the kind of disease that's been wrecking Nigeria since day one, useless people like that woman thinking they can do whatever they want and wak away free.

Have you asked yourself what $2.3 billion can do for you today? No, all you see is tribalism, nothing more, nothing about the damage she did while serving you.

"Incompetent", yet she keeps getting high profile international jobs in more economically effecient countries. Have you given a thought about that? Obasanjo brought her from a high profile international job and made her the finance minister. Have you so quickly forgotten how she facilitated the debt reprieve?

Is Amaechi's role a hidden secret? How would you ever expect her.to disobey the order of her boss with you $2.3b issue?

Why not simply agree to the point that our political leaders would never allow professionals make our country better?

With all your claims how has the EFCC not been able to find a negative information against her to enable her arrest? She flies in and out of Nigeria freely and even found time to attend her father's burial and her brother's coronation as king of her town. Her name was mentioned to Buhari too as his finance minister.

How would you ever expect a minister to take a political decision which the president should take? It is on record that some of her advices were ignored by GEJ. Obasanjo left a better economy because he found the political will to execute solutions proferred by his sound economic team which included Okonjo Iweala. What can you positively say about the present make up?

1. Whatever international appointments oyinbo people are giving her is none of our business, they can even make her the head of IMF, who cares, our concern remains her incompetence and culpability and how she facilitated wholesale looting and sharing of our money, the money we put in her care.

2. When your boss ask you to commit a crime against your country, you have 2 options, the first option is to refuse to betray your country, refuse to collude, refuse to tarnish your integrity and do the most patriotic thing, refuse, resign and expose. The second option is to go along with the crime and conspiracy to steal from your country, to betray your country, collude and participate in the looting scheme.

3. will the international job bring your $2.3 billion back to build roads, bridges, j=hospitals, railway, waterworks and so on? No, it's in the pockets of people like FFK, Fyose and so on, you lost.

Your rant is all about tribalism, not about Nigeria and what's best for Nigeria.

Nigerian govt borrowing billions to pay salaries – Okonjo-Iweala

May 6, 2015Premium Times

In the face of dwindling oil revenues, Minister of Finance, Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, said the Federal Government has borrowed about N473billion to pay salaries and fund the 2015 budget.

https://www.premiumtimesng.com/business/182543-nigerian-govt-borrowing-billions-to-pay-salaries-okonjo-iweala.html

How Jonathan, Okonjo-Iweala illegally diverted N61.4 billion Abacha loot to NSA, Sambo Dasuki

But a letter signed by Mrs Okonjo-Iweala, seen by PREMIUM TIMES, showed that 50 per cent of the recently recovered Abacha loot was allotted for “urgent security need” such as the procurement of arms and ammunition while the other half was set aside to be used for development purposes.

The letter, dated January 20, 2015, which was addressed to Mr Jonathan, revealed that the money was transferred following a January 12, 2015 request by the office of the NSA under Mr Dasuki for funds for the procurement of arms and ammunition as well as intelligence equipment.

However, instead of insisting on overseeing how the disbursed funds were spent as the country’s chief financial officer, she abdicated her responsibility, saying she expected Mr Dasuki to account directly to Mr Jonathan.

In a January 30, 2015 letter, Mr. Jonathan approved the transfer.

The woman opened her mouth to confess that she was actually borrowing to pay salary, buy you triabalists with your heads buried in the sand are saying it is false, you are actually calling her a lair just because you are tribally obsessed regardless of the truth.

We gave her a job to do, but instead of doing her job, she joined forces with looters to dash our money away and cover her own ass that she won't be accountable for the money, this is how terrible and incompetent she was.

You value tribe more than anything, even more than yourselves and your own well being,

Nigeria: Austerity - We're Ready for the Worst - Okonjo-Iweala

Despite what some have termed the looming doom hovering over the nation's horizon as a result of the crash in oil price, Co-ordinating Minister for the Economy and Minister of Finance, Dr. Ngozi Okonjo-Iweala, on Thursday assured of Nigeria's readiness to weather the storm, should the price slide further at the international market.

Brent crude oil futures fell below $74 per barrel on Thursday after the group decided not to cut production, despite global oversupply.

https://allafrica.com/stories/201411280091.html

FG introduces austerity measures

ON NOVEMBER 17, 20147:54 AM

In a bid to insulate the economy from falling crude oil prices the federal government announced far-reaching policy measures to deal with the crashing crude oil prices, cutting 2015 oil benchmark from $78 to $73 per barrel. Crude oil prices dropped to $77.76 per barrel, some cents below the $78 earlier proposed to the National Assembly as bench mark for the 2015 budget.

https://www.vanguardngr.com/2014/11/fg-introduces-austerity-measures/

Just imagine, the weak and incompetent economist declared austerity measures when oil was selling for $77/barrel.

Austerity measures

Borrowing billions to pay salary till her last days in office, but the tribalists with their heads buried in the sand still want us to believe that she did a wonderful job and left a wonderful economy when she fact she left a battered economy, an economy that she couldn't even manage with oil selling for $77/barell, Nigeria w'd love to see oil selling for $77 today.
