Yes, they didn't because of the pricing. That error was corrected in the redmi note 9 pro/max... It comes with a 22watts charger.

It was never an error but a way of cutting cost. If it's so important to the end-user, s/he can get the 18w adapter. It was same with RN5, RN7, R8 series except for RN8T. RN9 pro/max are exclusive to Indian market and you know how much those cost?

I beg to disagree with you boss...End-users should be able to enjoy any advertised feature without having to pay additional money...You cannot justify the act soleyy by making the cutting cost arguement...afterall this is a phone that never came with an earpiece, nor pouch or tempered glass and even lacks fingerprint sensor. So to me, I think they had already cut enough cost and not putting an 18 watts charger or any other charger that facilitates fast charge is a total rip-off
