BennyDGreat: I marinated chicken for a day with blended ginger, garlic, and Onions, thyme, rosemary, bouillon and a tiny bit of salt. I cooked under low heat the next day for 20 minutes, fried and peppered it. I made sauce with chopped carrot, green pepper, green peas, runner beans, liver (boiled, chopped and fried) onions(chopped) and pepper and ginger (roughly pounded). Tiny bit of oil in a pot/pan, Onions plus pepper blend plus liver plus green peas plus carrot plus runner beans and lastly green pepper( I take it off heat as soon as I add the green pepper) The rice is cooked using the chicken Broth. Put that back on fire, add more curry or turmeric powder if you want a rich golden colour, do not add salt of bouillon because the water is rich in that... Add your perboiled rice (water and rice should be at the same level) cook until tender. Add water if necessary, but ideally that won't be necessary. You seal the pot with a foil paper and that should do (steam cooking) Once rice is tender, mix the Rice with the sauce in batches and your fried rice is ready. Coleslaw was made using sliced cabbage, sliced cucumber, grated carrot and fussili( they were at the bottom of the bowl so they can absorb the ingredients better). You can also add Eggs, sweet corn, kidney beans to this. Mix mayonnaise with milk, sugar, a tkniy bit of salt and blended onions ( optional). Mix the chopped and grated vegetables to this and store in fridge for an hour. Pardon my typos please. Also, I left out some steps as I feel they are not necessary. 2 Likes |

Aghanel: This is how far I can go. Maybe in a few years time, when my economy improves, I can be able to feed the whole of Nigeria. |

Nooil: Of course! I prefer to mix my rice and its sauce in batches and move to a clean pot. |

Nooil: ....But even the pot I used to cook the rice had no external stain. When you cook your rice in big pots, seal properly and your rice is not over flooded with water, it won't spill. |

Alaganature: Maybe you should have asked me what my rationale was for posting this, bro. Thus, it is to spur people to do the same ( reaching out to those around us and the less privileged), I blame it on boredom too because I have carried out bigger projects before and none made it here. 2 Likes |
