I've had this movie for close to two months if not more, but I'm just seeing today. The movie was beautifully written and well executed. The pacing was right. The emotions were raw. That's one of the beauties of the drama genre - it elicits emotions and gradual unraveling of the characters. It allows characters to develop.

The movies had the same emotional impact on me like its fellow contemporaries - The Florida Project and American Honey. It bears some resemblance with American Honey in particular. Definitely worth the over 2 hours duration.

I've had this movie for close to two months if not more, but I'm just seeing today. The movie was beautifully written and well executed. The pacing was right. The emotions were raw. It was beautifully done i must say...was vexed when the movie kind of veered to a seemly different plot at one point but after seeing the entire movie i was able to piece everything together because it was so clear what the director was going for...pressure, downward spiral, acceptance, forgiveness and then redemption...and the scene pacing with the soundtrack was good...so top tier.

The duration of the flick has been the major discouraging factor since two months ago I downloaded it. But 30 minutes into movie, I just wished it would reach up to 3 hours sef.

will smith lost his aura a long time ago if u have seen Bad boys u will understand.. Nothing to offer again.. Idris Elba is phasing him out..though he still has that charm people like to see but for me baba should retire

One of the things I'm really glad about is that I didn't know a lot about the historical events or the characters going into this movie. This way, I was able to fully experience every emotion the movie tried to invoke; the anger, the frustration, the tension, the fear.

I know Christian Bale is one of the best actors alive, today, but sometimes I forget just how bloody good Matt Damon is too. Both of them elevated this movie to the level of classic.

The crew did a stellar job, as well. With the cinematography, setting, editing, detail to history. Also the casting and dramatization for screen was done tastefully.

Funny enough, this movie wasn't really on my last year's list and I just chanced upon it. Thank God for that.

P.S: Seeing the Coca Cola spot and remembering just how old the company and the product is just made me wonder whether Nigeria has any such company with a product that has been a Nationwide staple for decades, talk less of globally. We really have a long, long way to go.

Also, if you people that watched it, told me Jon Bernthal was in this movie, I would have fvckin downloaded it ages ago.

Am not saying you made a bad list, as i quite agree with some of your choice of actors, but when you start adding actors cause of their beards, it makes your list less credible & questionable.

You could have easily replaced Chris Evans & Michael B. Jordan with Denzel Washington. Infact as a cinematographer who you claim to be, it's quite a taboo not to include Denzel Washington on the main list, not even honorable mentions. Have you seen any of the following;
